Purdue BTN Preview
Did anyone see the Purdue BTN preview
looked like a lot of people walking around - no urgency to practice
The hosts were trying to say how much of a nice guy hazell is
talked about the promise he showed at OSU as a recievers coach
Terry Malone (YTTM) is new OC

Wonder if he will get fired during the season or not - my hope is he makes it through the season. Bad look to fire a guy in October for just being bad - he has been bad for 3+ years.

The reason Hazell is still around is because he got a 6 year contract when they hired him and the remaining 6 million is too much for them to buyout. There's no way they would ever be able to afford Kevin Sumlin.

I mean, it's not the most compelling slogan out there, but I suppose if you were down to Purdue in Rutgers in your recruitment, naturally you might choose badminton.
Yeah, a Purdue preview under Hazell sounds like an opportunity to watch people having a normal day, laughing and playing, right before something unfortunate - like a football season, in their case.

There are some very good Division 2 schools in PA. To me they look like an elite D2 football school or an average FCS school, not a Big10 school.
I'd like to see them play Slippery Rock on a neutral field.

This is the reality at Purdue. Joe Tiller was the exception and even he couldnt keep the majic going (only 1 bowl game his last 3 seasons) Purdue won by playing a new style offense that was unknown in the big ten so they caught many teams off guard for a while. Eventually the luck ran out. Although im not gonna lie the Michigan vs Purdue games were always so much fun to watch.
