Also, some people enjoy gambling, win or lose. Though I rarely gamble on sports myself, blowing $20 betting on a parlay could be more entertaining than taking someone to the movies for the same price.

Oh, right. I read that as Michigan -12 by stating I'd take Michigan LESS the points. I guess I'm used to people being surprised that Michigan was favored, not the other way around. :-/
