I refuse to be delusional. FSU is not that good and we needed a comeback to win and Charlotte is not that good and we lost. We are a fringe top 25 team and had NO business in the top 10 in the first place. Those of you (like myself) that were looking for those GRIII improvements coming into this yr please stop and let's hope the freshmen can get it together before we go to Cameron and get dump trucked.

If this shit continues, this could be like the 1990-91 season.

I have a feeling that game at duke could be like that one where Demetrius Calip was wide open on a dunk, nobody within 15 feet of him, and somehow he missed it. Microcosm of that season.

I don't think it will. If there was a mass exodus with Trey, THJ, GR3 and McGary leaving for the NBA last year, oy that would be bad.

We have a long way to go and if there is anything I've learned from John Beilein Michigan Basketball, it's that things can start out rough early but blossom into something nice.

The D Calip/ future 2nd string for the Fab 5 year was my first year of 15 with season tickets. At least we all knew they wouldn't be great. Highlights of that season were serenading C Web on his official visit and a double OT win vs my roommate's Purdue team.

Oh, and while I share some pessimism about this year's team, this year will be MUCH better than that year

Too many missed free throws. I hope the hockey team can keep playing well. I don't have much left. I am actually starting to look forward to baseball season. That has never happened before. What a joke.

The stat of the game probably has to be the effective FG% of 35.23% from Michigan, which is still a bit short of Charlotte's also somewhat unimpressive 43.94%. Nobody was really shooting that well, but we were shooting worse. Beyond that, some of the other major stats for the game were reasonably comparable.

Michigan lost to a Division 2 school: Alaska-Anchorage, in the 1988-89 season.

That may be one of the biggest upsets in college basketball history next to UVA losing to Chaminade in the early 80s. But nobody remembers or talks about it because Michigan finished pretty well that year.

Ya Mon, da happy weed...Glad the boys could have some fun in the sun. All three of the games were good preparation for the big10 season and beyond. Tonight's loss would have been no big deal except it follow Hoke's follies and the Same old Lions. At least the hoops team has no coaching issues.

After being down 0-24, he has led an incredible comeback. Pats up 28-24

Also, Jack Del Rio has out vaseline on his face and looks like he's sweating when it's 22 degrees out

Out of conference losses don't bug me as much in basketball. Let's at least go 1-1 against Duke and Arizona and then handle business in Big Ten play.
