Public Apology to SomeWittyName

Submitted by sdogg1m on

I think we owe SomeWittyName an apology, so I would like to start. You tried to warn us of the tire fire that the offense would be and that we should be alarmed at Nolan Ulizio's right tackle start. We maligned your name like that of the prophets old but instead of slinging stones at your body, we negged your account into oblivion.

We started threads in awe of our ganging up on you and the spectacular piling on of your posts. We digitally high fived each other we glee as your points plummeted into negative territory. You were right and we were wrong. I apologize from the bottom of my heart and the next time you speak, I will listen. I think this should be a lesson to our fan base that when one of our beloved sounds the alarm that we should be more patient rather than trying to ostracize them.

Whether we like it or not we our fans of the same team whose offense may not improve, God help us.

Humbly, I plead to Brian for a restoration of his/her points prior to the pillaging.

Praying for some miracle tackle recruits to show up for 2018. Honestly they could probably start since our stable of tackles consist of Filiaga and a bunch of 2/3 stars. Ulizio nearly gave me an aneurysm.

This is Frey’s first season back as o-line coach. He did really well at Indiana after his time with Rich Rod. He’s had one off-season with a void from Hoke recruiting to move towards a zone blocking scheme. I like Dantonio has done with 2 and 3 stars but they’ve also had consistent coaching and seriously got pawned by our d-line anyway.

1. Playcalling has been crap. 1-15 Cleveland Browns OC is a disaster. Needs replaced immediately.
2. Receivers don't get open and can't catch. This will improve. Very young and Tarik injury was a killer.
3. McCaffrey will be a stud, but not worth burning the red shirt for this year.

People, get a grip. We turned the ball over 5 times. If we had won, it would have broken a 95 game win streak for +5 turnover teams. And we were a McDoom drop (or a dozen other things) away from doing so.

I get that we deserve a few days of being pissed off, but the sky is not falling. Hope Pep can find a new job though. He's the only unfixable problem we have.

How can Sparty seem to recover and use walk on... Yet we cannot? Sounds like mentally weak players we have.
And I predict Drevno returns to the west coast, as he isn't cuttng it here. Neither is Pep Hamilton who stunk at Indy too.

I would point out that if he was a carnivore, Noah probably ate very well while on the Ark. He probably brought aboard three of each animal but arrived atop Ararat with only two of each type and probably a few more missing which went extinct, the latter category being especially tasty.

but I'd venture to guess it's somewhere north of 1% based on all the defenders I've seen all season long that have blown through the right side, usually completely untouched, and with a full head of steam, drectly into our QB.. Hopefully Mccaffrey does not go anywhere near the field until this is sorted out. Can Wheat Jr. play RT?

Painfully obvious that multiple problems exist and not just right tackle. The start of Ulizio was just a small indicator of what was wrong to start the season. SWN was quick to point that out and aggressively.

The overall communicated assumption was that the offense would be decent despite who was starting at right tackle. The play at that position has been horrendous along with the rest of the offense.

This is refreshing. Good for you. A taste of humility, something our fan base has a really hard time swallowing. We are NOT better than others. I am looking at you A2, arrogant alumni.

people werent bashing SWN because he thought Ulizio was a trouble spot; people were negging him because he was a classless, stubborn asshole who couldn't hold a civilized conversation.
