Big night of big ten hoops
Big life. Big stage.
It's nice not having to pull for our rivals for a change for the big ten championship. Hopefully MSU and Ohio lose every remaining game by 30.
I'm loving this.
Craft looking befuddled as he's on the verge of fouling out.
Who has the redder cheeks Thad Matta or Aaron Craft?
seriously he has been in continuous cardiac arrest since 2007. Will someone tell him he is having a heart attack always
Does every Nike school have gray alternate uniforms now? When I first turned it on, I thought I was watching Georgetown.
OSU is not a good team but hopefully on Craft's senior night they will beat Sparty.
45 seconds and up by 3.
Is Iowa on after this Big Ten game on ESPN 2 ??
Iowa's on ESPN
Need to be smart.
Holy cow penn state, dont choke here.
PSU is self destructing.
Oh my Penn St. .....srsly??
Lenzelle Smith would have drained that against us. Total BRICK though.
And Penn St. still missing free throws trying to lose this..
Craft will drive to the hoop.
Well OSU needs an offensive bucket. They can certainly do it. Let's go D. Keep it out of the arc.
Swept by PSU . . . that's gotta hurt!
storm that court...
I hope our guys were watching this.
I hope to all Fuck last night was a prominent way to get that point across!
This was a top three team at one point....
No it wasn't. I mean, the rankings said they were, but they weren't.
Kentucky in overtime against Arkansas.
How are they even a tournament team?? NIT! NIT
Ok don't get crazy
@Iowa, @Wisc only really quality wins. OOC schedule was absolute joke. They lose the next two @IU vs Sparty .500 in conference play. The blind resume comparison would have several teams that won't get in with more impressive resumes. Only a lock because of reputation. I can't wait to pencil them in for first round 'upset'
So this gets back to a thread of posts in Brian's post from earlier today about taking long shots instead of going to the basket. Ohio players had a nice path to the basket and likely would've been fouled but they chose the 20 footer instead for the Win; worked out well.
Always good to see ohio lose!
they pass OSU for 4th place.
The Wildcats slap the floor on defense and give up an offense rebound.
Razorbacks take a terrible shot and Wildcats recover.
Earlier they slapped the floor after a sideline inbounds. Arkansas passed it to a corner where a UK defender was busy slapping and made an uncontested 3. Such a stupid practice.
You know, the stat of the evening in the Ohio State / Penn State game has to be some rather ridiculous free throw rates for both teams. Ohio State's free throw rate was 57.45% and they went 18-27 from the stripe, and you can compare that to the even more ridiculous free throw rate of Penn State - 65.12% - and 22-28 from the line. In the end, most other major stats being fairly close, that was the difference.
there is in poise between PSU, Arkansas, OSU and Michigan. Our guys are so young but they handle the pressure so much better.
Calipari is extremely overrated.
they aren't having a year any better than ours.
Kikko was in the famous Hardaway Jr. pic right?
Kikko man, that really leaves a salty taste in my mouth.
Keiko Haydar...I feel like that guy went off against us two years ago.
Edit* Scratch that it was last year. 4-4 from 3 land, 13 total points. We beat them handidly but he wouldn't miss.
oh god damn Adam Woodbury is just a hideous looking dude
Definitely looks like someone did a good job of hiding the bolts on that model.
So has Assembly Hall been proven to be structurally safe? It seems like this is pretty soon to be playing there again.
Indiana has scored 39 points in 14 minutes. Yeah, Iowa's not the best defensive team.
At one point, early in the season, I thought that they might be the best team in the conference. They are really sinking.
St. Louis goes down - we keep it going and I think we move ahead of them.
This Iowa-Indiana game - I'm torn. What am I rooting for? On the one hand, it seems like Iowa losing is good for us, on the other hand, fucking Tom Crean.
Man, he needs to get the fuck off of the court.
