"Pryor Has Swine Flu" shirts are really catching on.

I can't help but notice an ever increasing number of Wolverine fans wearing what is probably this year's "go-to" shirt for Michigan fans to show their rival spirit!  After first noticing the "Pryor Has Swine Flu" shirts on the Big Ten Network during the EMU game 8 days ago, I then saw a caption in the Detroit Free Press featuring the shirt alongside Michael Phelps.

This past Saturday at the Indiana game, I saw more people with these shirts, and it got me thinking...what if we got thousands of fans and much of the student section to wear these shirts during the OSU game this year???

My suggestion: Package these inventive shirts with maize-colored Flu "Masks"

Any thoughts wolverine fans??  Do you want to be apart of the movement to take out Pryor and the Buckeyes??

2nd entry:

Will Michigan head to East Lansing this upcoming Saturday to beat the Michigan State Spartans?

Michigan has impressed thus far in the 2009 Football season.  The transition to the spread offense implemented by Rich Rod and his staff just over one year ago seems to have been completed earlier than expected with the assistance of some skilled and improved personnel:

Tate Forcier: the kid has got a versatile skill set, an innate will to be a leader and shrugs off distractions or obstacles that come between him and his goals.  He has shown this throughout his life and career, and I believe this man truly gets it.

the Offense: an offense that looked like it was being ran by George Clooney and "The Replacements" last season now looks like an well-oiled machine, making all of its connection on rhythm, with everyone performing their dynamic and equally important roles at a level that is now gaining national respect (which should be expected for a team that has championship level goals).

the Defense: the defense has taken important steps towards success this season.  I believe they will continue to work hard and pay attention to detail and show steady improvement throughout the season.  If they keep working hard, they will gain national respect, and no opponent will want to step foot on the field with these 11 men, especially at Michigan Stadium.

My prediction:  If Michigan continues to do its part in practice and preparation, Michigan will beat MSU this Saturday 31-23, in East Lansing.

So far, Pryor's impact on OSU has been about average for a freshman QB. Their defense and running game is the key to their success. Focusing on Pryor just gives him more attention he doesn't deserve (and I am pretty sure it would irritate him more to be totally ignored).

I'm just gonna have to say no to your first idea. I've only seen a few swine flu shirts, not that prevelant on campus. I think shirts referencing his completely idiotic Vick quotes would be funnier (hence my username) but thats just me.

Wow uhh...these last few games hasn't shown that they're a bend-don't-break, mediocre defense? IU came in and lit them up, don't expect any drastic improvement.

I damn sure hope beating Sparty is the football team's mission. If I hear that they're only going to exchange canned music libraries I won't be very happy.

I shake my head in disgust every time I walk by the people selling them, as they are the same people who ripped off some of Brian's designs and have been selling them the last couple of years.

Do we really want to be the school with the student body that made fun of a rival via a potential pandemic flu that has already killed thousands? Probably not. It's not just a low brow, unfunny attempt at humor, it's in pretty bad taste.

Thanks for the comments everybody. To those who did not see the shirts on gameday, you must not have sat near the student section nor paid attention to what the student fans were wearing... I probably saw at least 50 people wearing these shirts, but I was also in the student section
