Proof that Cleveland Glenville is stacking the deck for OSU and against UM

Closing a door for a our youth without them even knowing it was open is not something I want anyone taking part in, especially due to winning a football game. They should be ashamed of themselves and honestly should probably lose their jobs.

I'd rather have a kid making an educated and informed decision about where he goes to school. If OSU offers him a scholarship, he should know about it. For some, OSU is a better fit, and they shouldn't miss out on it for some douchebag coach's ego.

If I was a coach and one of my players got an offer from OSU I'd slap him on the back and congratulate him for earning something incredibly impressive. Of course I'd tell him I'm a Michigan fan and I'd rather see him in maize and blue, but that's not a coach's decision to make.

Yeah, the leap from 1 is a mistake to 2 is proof is quite the blind leap. We can assume that the adults there are biased, but stating that they purposefully tossed some important faxes is speculation, not anything approaching proof.

My guess is that it is a combination of incompetence and bias. To tell a "just so" tale, perhaps someone saw the michigan faxes and left them on the fax to attend to later when he/she has time for less important matters like UM. Then, after faxes built up, some incompetent adult came by and just tossed a bunch of faxes.

Or, the person at UM, in sending both faxes at once, did something wrong.

One tale is as easy to tell as the other. But, as Mark stated, "Ginn Sr. is still a wanker." I for one, however, hope he becomes less of a wanker with RR here.

Even if Glenville closed, Ginn Sr. is a big enough name around there that he would catch on at another school.

I am fully convinced that the "snafu" regarding JT Turner's paperwork was intentional, too. It's just like Ohio State Troopers pulling over UM fans for going 56 mph on the way to the game. Ohio people have a hatred for UM that far transcends a "sporting rivalry."

For the record, I have never spent five seconds here or anywhere else waxing apoplectic over Ginn going to OSU. I don't know why you brought up Hankins, since he has nothing to do with Glenville. Michigan regarded other DL recruits more highly, and OSU was the beneficiary. Some regard the mysteriously missing faxes as purely random coincidences and nothing more; given the long-standing animosity of Glenville towards UM, I think that's a bit naive. If somebody can unearth an OSU recruit from Glenville who also says he didn't get the fax, then that would be an indication my skepticism is unwarranted.

It's certainly possible that there are HS coaches in Michigan or elsewhere that would withhold information from students that is rightfully theirs, but since I don't spend any time on OSU or MSU blogs or message boards I haven't come across any such assertions. Steering or persuading students is common enough and I'm sure it goes on everywhere, but witholding information that legally belongs to a student is a bit different in my book.
