problems loading Mgoblog on Bberry Curve

I was just issued a new bberry curve at work and the first thing I did was check out the internet speed. I tried Mgoblog. Got an error saying that it was too large (insert thats what she said type joke here).

Tried several other websites - same result. Able only to get onto specific mobile sites.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so is there a fix.

After requesting a new one, I cannot now go back and ask for my dinosaur back - but man, if this cannot be fixed, careful what you wish for.

I have a Blackberry Curve from Sprint and it works somewhat ok with the Opera browser, way better then the included BB browser. I have found that my web experience with my Blackberry rather unimpressive as a whole. I did get out of my Sprint contract anyone give any input on the new Motorola Droid from Verizon? My limited research tells me that both Verizon and AT&T's plans run about 30 bucks more a month then comparable Sprint plans but anything to get away from Sprint. Sorry for the mini hi-jack.

I have the curve, too, and while the mgo page loads completely (though slowly - and has to reload entirely for any link followed, ugh) it displays with a faint blue type on white background that can only really be seen if held at an angle. Anyone know how to change that? It's the only page I've come across that has that issue.

In fact, the light colored font issue I used to have on my old Curve (similar to poster above) is gone and it looks more like the standard html page. Around Christmas I started to get an "Error While Loading Page" message, but eventually the site would load. Now, I get the "Request Entity Too Large" message. IT people have no idea why that is.

Edit: Apparently having the support JavaScript box checked was my problem.

And the site loads, but its pretty shitty (i.e. only worth the trouble in cases of extreme boredom).

Specifically, as another poster also said, the side left and right side bars load first, and the content is displayed "below" them - so it's like a really long and narrow (definitely NOT what she said) web page with the side bars on top of the content.

Switching between "page view" and "desktop view" helps a little bit, but it causes its own set of problems.

I wonder how hard it would be to make a very basis mobile version of this site, just so I can read some posts and threads on the go?

The main page loads (albeit slowly) but there many time I go to click on an MGOPost on the side and the page is white. After clicking on it 2-3 times it finally loads. Not sure what that issue is but it's annoying.

My guess is that you're bandwidth limited to save on data plan costs, but that doesn't explain why it worked on your old phone. Maybe the new limits only applied on the newly issued phones?

I do have an App that makes the Brian (Tim etc) articles easy to read, but I don't think it exists anymore. But it does nothing for the Boards and comments, which are the part that is a struggle.
