49-27, has been all Northwestern.  Really fun 1st half to watch - hope they can keep it going for the last 20 mins.  Go Cats!

State is a sweet 16 team at best who’s played no one and benefitted from the usual big ten protectionism. Hollis won’t be on the ncaa board to help them in the tournament anymore either. I doubt they win the big ten or the big ten tournament.

Don't agree. They have been on a hot stretch recently until this first half. Bridges has really been asserting himself and looking good, including his Purdue game winner. Jackson is still a top 3 pick in the draft, and Ward and Winston continue to be very good. The fact that they were 12 or whatever it was on the S curve is the real joke. I imagine they'll pull this one off as well.

they should have lost to iowa.  they should have lost today.  they should have lost to purdue.  those were all choke jobs.  give msu credit for not folding but those were choke jobs.

msu's half court offense is not good.  a good zone will shut them down.  NU could have used mcintosh today to stop the bleeding.  he would have easily prevented that loss today.

for one, it was a very easy stretch of games with only two semi-difficult games: at Maryland and home Purdue.

The were down 13 at half agaist Maryland and had to come back.  They got fairly lucky to beat Purdue at home.

They had today's game, and that was without McIntosh.  They were down late to Iowa and pulled it out by three.

They've actually dropped in kenpom rankings from 5th to 6th during this current 10 game winning streak, which tells you all you need to know about the competition during that time and the unexpected closeness of those games.

Unfortunately, it seems like they just sleepwalk through long stretches, but they're a really, really good team when they turn it on.  They've been lucky to get away with that this stretch, but I don't they'll have those lazy stretches in the tournament.

they have some foul troubles though which could come back to bite them in the 2nd half.

Really? WTF!!?? Thanks for jinxing it. After an insane Staee comeback win Izzo will dedicate the comeback to the survivors and have some big fake crying.

relax folks.  it either will happen, or it won't.  sparking some electrons on computers about it, hundreds of miles from the game, has no effect.   most of you are kidding, but not all...

In other news, Texas wins at Oklahoma which is helpful for Michigan except Oklahoma sucks.

I'm excited for the Xavier vs Villanova game at 4:30. That should be a dandy although I will be sad watching Jalen Brunson and Trevon Bluiett. They should be wearing Michigan uniforms.

at length.  See Brian's front page post for a great breakdown of the various brackets.

TL;DR, this is guy is probably overvaluing the strength of record and we're more like an 8-9 seed right now.  But lot of opportunity to move up a few seeds since we have three winnable quality games remaining.

Will NW score 15 points this half? I say no. As soon as they were up 25 I just felt a Sparty win. They have had at least four easy looks go in and out this half. 4 on Skelly and MSU almost in the bonus. This will come down to the wire.

You're the kind of clown who starts babbling loudly about a no-hitter in the sixth inning and a shutout at the beginning of the third period.

Stay away from shitposting during tournament time for all Michigan sports.
