He's coming home.

The @detroitnews reports Jim Harbaugh will be introduced at a press conference tomorrow at noon.

EDIT: per Angelique, he will be introduced BEFORE the game tomorrow instead of halftime.

And now, he will see his coach every day he arrives at his office. His home. Where he belongs.

Feels like we have been doing nothing but waiting so I guess another 24 hrs should be no big deal. But damn I will feel better when I See Jim with that Michigan hat on at the podium.

I've been quite skeptical about his return thus far but can finally "exhale" because it's happening. I will be enthusiastically watching the presser. I can't wait for Meyer & Dantonio to get punched in the mouth (metaphorically,of course).

I wish that the official/first announcement would be at halftime of the basketball game.  Something like Hackett at center court saying, "And now, let me introduce the next head football coach of the University of Michigan, Jim Harbaugh!  (And then Harbaugh walks out).  That would be absolutely spectacular.

The presser could follow the next day, or after all of the bball post game is done.

Of course, the most important thing is that Jim is now the coach.  But I think a halftime announcement would be one for the ages.

Part of me likes the workman-like way this is being done.  Less show, more focus on the job ahead.

Not disagreeing a halftime event would be awesome ... just thinking a quieter press conference and then down to business is more in keeping with Hackett's and Harbaugh's style.
