Prepare for the worst (Dee Hart)

Agree.  Look, I think Hart is blue, but if not...best wishes to him.  Onward and forward.

Sam made Hart picking U-M his "lock of the week." Also hinted that Hart had agreed to make announcement on WTKA on Tuesday before deciding to announce today. Implication was that if he agreed to announce on WTKA, he must be picking U-M. (To be clear, this is my interpretation of Sam's hints.)

I was so close to posting something along the lines of, "Whatever you do, Dee, please don't do that game-show style stunt where there are two or three ball caps sitting on a table, and you reach for one, wait for everybody to gasp, and then grab another and put it on your head..."

Because that got old the first time anybody did it.

Is this the digital equivalent?

Now, I love me some Dr. Philips for sure, but I personally regard the combination of "college football and Twitter" (and/or Facebook) to be nearly as toxic as the combination of "college football and agents." 

... he posted something on ricardo millers twittter a few days ago saying something very similar about michgan, but theres nothing we can do except wait and see.

If this doesn't turn out to be funny in hindsight then I am going to hate you forever.

I guess the real question is - does he want to play for last year's national champion or next year's national champion?

I'm going to prepare for the "worst". I'm going to prepare for some Bratwurst! and some beer and some whoop ass to open up on Sparty.

Dee would be a great get for U of M and would mean a lot that hig-rated recruits are looking seriously at the program rather than RR and staff having to continue to find diamonds-in-the-rough.  As we continue to improve we will attract higher rated players. It is the ability to find the underrated players that will continue to be the Michigan Difference.

He was supposedly already informed the coaches of his decision.  Are there hints about that decision leaking out anywhere, like coaches at Schembecler Hall spotted talking on a cell phone and then high-fiving?

Or the "insidarz" on the rivals boards for Alabama suddenly acting depressed?

There is no real worst-case scenario to a kid making an announcement now.  If he comes, awesome.  If he doesn't, he's left us five months before Signing Day to land someone else.  The announcements right before Signing Day are far more stressful.

I did see this video and hadn't seen it posted. To me, a lot of the reporting from the Orlando Sentinel all seems slanted to Bama and the south, with little mention of Mich. While he says he likes bama and had a great visit, I still think he goes blue!
