Predictions for Mich/West Virginia bball

Submitted by goblue85 on

Tommorrow night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY at 8 pm ESPN.  It should be a pro Michigan crowd tommorrow night just like it was at the Garden.   I think this will be a game that GR3 will come out of his shell and put together a pretty good ballgame for us.   The way Burke is playing I have a lot of confidence in this team.  Also hope we play the two bigs down low some in this game.  I like Michigan to get the win and move to 11-0.

Michigan 77

West Virginia 63

It'll be an intense defensive battle the whole game with another surprise appearance by Jareth Glanda, the basketball team's newest walk-on member at PG. Surprisingly agile, Glanda will get a steal with 5 seconds left, get a clear path foul, and shoot a free throw. He will miss the free throw but the giant penguin in the stands will distract the refs by throwing pineapples onto the court. The refs will forget what happened and allow Glanda to shoot the free throw again. Glanda will make it. THJ will celebrate by eating a pineapple raw while Trey Burke will showcase his culinary skills by baking a pineapple upside down cake with GRIII. The end.  I should probably go to bed....

  • Post prediction thread over 24 hours before actual tip off to ensure that no one else beats you to it.
  • Add some standard chatter.
  • Don't forget to predict a Michigan victory.
  • Participate some in the thread discussion.

You have yourself an easy 100 points minimum over the course of the season.

The guy's averaging 11 points and 7 rebounds on 54% shooting, including leading the team with 17 against Arkansas. I wouldn't call that a shell.  Maybe if he was our best scoring option, but we don't need him to be. If you did want to say he was in a shell, then he broke out of it in the Arkansas game. However with Burke, Hardaway, Morgan, and Stauskas all with the ability to go ham on any given night, I don't see GR needing to score 20+ very often this year.

of 12 times they bring up Beilein having coached at West Virginia before, even though after all this time there's nobody left he was coaching when he was there.

I'm looking at StubHub for cheap tix (of which there are plenty) but hoping I can move up (or more center) to fill seats vacated by teams playing earlier. Anyone have reports about the Barclays Experience?
