Wolverine Devotee put out the most recent roster charts and some members noted the small number (11) of the RS Sr and Sr class. These are the players that committed to another coach or found a commitment to a new coach in a short period after "The Process".
I've put a small table above showing the position and side of the ball they play on as well as if they are a starter. Although there are only a few of them, they are a talented group as 8 of the 11 are starters. 6 are on defense (5 starters), 3 on offense (1 Starter), and 2 on special teams (2 starters).
I also put next years potential replacement player(s) who might get playing time behind them this year. I didn't put Speight out as I assume he will get a RS and didn't know who would spell Ryan when he goes out as the LB shift has me confused on who plays where. Feel free to note others to watch as well or mistakes I made.
Hopefully the team comes together and sends them out as "Those who stay" should be sent out.
Edit: dahblue and ducksterstepnoutsociety were users who did initial counts.

It's not really a surprise, but damn, that's a short list.

I didn't realize almost half of our defensive starters will be seniors. If the DTs can be average and we get an adequate second safety out of all the contenders, we should have our best defense in as many as 8 years.

I can't believe Jake Ryan is a RS Senior, it definitely feels like he should be a RS Junior with his medical redshirt year. Seems like only yesterday that we saw his flowing locks streaming in the wind as he sliced into opponents backfields.
Ryan, Hagerup, and Gardner are the last of the Mohicans for the 2010 class of a 27 man class. That's just insane.

Yeah, I was surprised Blake wasn't on the list too. He had a big impact as a freshman, where we started noticing Ryan more as a sophomore I guess.

Hopefully, all of the seniors get the experience of a great season and a victory over MSU and OSU to boot. That would definitely make for a great send-off.
As someone mentioned, the fact that we're down to three remaining players from the rather vast class of 2010 is remarkable to me. I know we've talked about that class in particular before, but that rate of attrition is still incredible (and rare) by Michigan standards, if I remember the normal numbers correctly.

It is a short list and certainly highlights how young the team is. I am excited for this season and for these seniors--it's their best chance at a B1G title since they've been here.
And looking ahead, while we are losing some great players, the depth behind them is STRONG. I am not worried about any of these positions for 2015.
Not a lot of "thank you" cards to send out, but on the plus side, we've got loads of talents brewing in A2.
another year of eligibility for 2015. He was injured in RichRod's final year, if memory serves.
