Potential Starting lineup when MegaClass are seniors

Submitted by Hurricane on

I might be getting a little ahead of myself, but the exciting developments in the recruiting world got me thinking about what our lineup could potentially look like when the 2012 class are seniors.  I have put together a projected 2015 starting lineup based upon our current commits and potential 5th year seniors along with their projected eligibility. It gives us a good idea as to where we are at so far and areas of need.  The future looks bright and if some of the kids we are recruiting go blue, it will be even brighter.

Michigan finished with the highest average star rating in the country (3.82), but somehow had the 17th-ranked class.  Oklahoma State finished more than a full star worse... and finished ahead of Michigan in the rankings because they signed 31 kids.

Gotta love the Rivals ranking system.

It makes sense in a way. They want to have a concrete way of ranking classes instead of having a couple of columnists go on their gut feeling. That said, I'll take 10 5* and 10 4* players over 40 3* players any day, regardless of what Rivals says.

No recruiting class in history has had that many starters at one time.

This is an incredibly unrealistic post.

Rawls better be pretty awesome, because he doesn't have a fullback blocking for him, and Shane Morris doesn't have anyone to pass to except tight ends.
