Submitted by poseidon7902 on

It's an off week.  Let's see some of the cool Michigan Memorabilia you have.  I have 2 main items.

My favorites is my panoramic frames phote of the Big House.  At over 4 feet wide, it hangs on the wall behind where I sit facing my desk, and is a huge conversation piece.

When I get home from work tonight I'll post my autographed photo of Braylon. I also have a nice Michigan mirror, a huge banner in my garage, and a cool Michigan flag that a friend found on the beach here on Maui and gave to me.

I've been eyeing some autographed photos of Burke and the Shot.  I need to diversify and include some Basketball stuff around the house.  Also wouldn't mind having Howard sign my copy of "I wore 21".

Signed by many Wolverines, including:

  • Lloyd Carr
  • Mike Hart
  • Steve Everitt (twice, for some reason)
  • Desmond Howard

I know I'm forgetting many others (I believe I have Mattison's), but it's at home and I don't want to make shit up. This will one day be the focal point of my Man Cave.

Signatures desired (mostly pipe dreams):

  • Harbaugh
  • Denard
  • Woodson
  • Tom Brady
  • Hackett

If you're looking to get a signed Denard picture, a lot of sports shops around Detroit have them for sale.

Not quite the same, but it's something.

As for Hackett, I would imagine you could just...ask. Shoot him an email, see what happens.

That had to have come from one of the old Mott's benefits considering the people who signed (I see Mattison, Schefter from ESPN). I think this was from the crew who did the very last one they held a few years back. I see Dhani on there to the left of Schefter, I see Jarrett Irons on the top strip and Griese on the left wing. Carr on the right but not sure who is under him.  Remy Hamilton is above Mattison and Dhani Jones and that's Al Borges behind him. I also see Aaron Shea poking out ont he back half behind Jarrett Irons. Scott Dreisbach all the way to the right in silver on the blue. Definitely the group who was involved in the Griese, Hutchinson, Woodson stuff for Motts.

1) I think that signature in black to the far right on the yellow wing is Jay Feely. He wore 49 at Michigan and was always very front and center at the G/H/W Motts stuff.

2) Took me a minute to remember but the signature under Lloyd Carr's at the very front is Dana Jacobsen.  This is all coming back to me now.  In most of the Mott's events it was really player oriented but towards the last two years they started bringing in more non-M players and thats when Schefter and Dana Jacobsen started showing up.  I would bet you this item was signed at the WTKA studio because this was blow for blow of the people who were in the studio doing the radiothon.

My wife and I were living in Florida but happend to be on Mackinac Island for summer vacation.  Ran into Bo in Murdick's Fudge Shop and he was kind enough to let my wife snap a photo of the two of us.  Didn't know at the time how much I'd enjoy having that photo later.  I'm going to count it as memorabilia!

signed by Bo.  My dad brought it home for me and one signed by AC for my sister.  I have fancier M stuff, but somehow that program is the one thing that I'd really be devastated to lose.

of "A Dynasty in Blue" I got when I was in 5th grade to which it reads "To a future 3rd generation Wolverine, Go Blue - Bo Schembechler" - Needless to say 7 years later I would enroll in Michigan.

I have a large photo of the Desmond catch against ND, autographed by Desmond and Elvis.

I also have the broken seatback from my field chair from Ohio Stadium.  While in the marching band my freshman year, I "accidently" stomped repeatedly on the chair until it fell apart and the back "accidently" ended up with me on the bus.

This has been my bedroom since I was 9 years old including the paint, borders, giant rug and pennants. Once I went away to college (Currently finishing my last semester at Michigan) my dad let me take this Michigan theme to a whole new level by giving me iconic memorabilia for every birthday and major holiday.

Classic Bo, yet to be hung.

Piece of yost pre-renovation signed by Red.

1969 Ohio State game picture with lots of signatures including Bo's.

Tre's signed shot against Kansas

1997 Rose bowl pic with tickets from the home games

Classic Bo screaming at Harbaugh yet to be hung.

Signed Desmond striking the heisman pose. This one is probably my favorite one out of all of them but its hard to choose.

But this photo in my grandfather's hand-lettered photo scrapbook covering his time attending UM from 1901-1904 is one my prize possessions.
