fair point that
Edit: I'm so not worried that I got my first double post ever.
double post, learmanj was just trying to emphasize how little Brian would change.
I catch a lot. Sometimes, too many."
Marriage has been known to change people, but I think we're ok. Though there may be more talks of picnics in the park, long walks on the beach, and romantic candlelight dinners.
a simple congratulations would have been perfect.
This post is very wrong on multiple levels.
1) Who is Brian? I have only been on here for a couple weeks now and don't really know too many people.
2) What are the MGoPoints under the user name and date of joining?
1) Brian is the owner of this Blog
2) Once you reached 100 points you are able to create new threads and vote post up/down
Brian is the founder/proprietor/editor of this-here blog. And points, uhh, really? You get them for posting things, and people voting. You may not be able to vote yet, though, as you may not have enough of them yet.
I'm a little surprised that you calmly explained who Brian is but then acted surprised that dude didn't know how the points system works. I confess that I still don't get this newfangled gizmo.
Anyway, I would have thought your reaction would have been the reverse.
He is the big guy in the clouds...
If anything he'll be even more irascible and bitter. I'm all for it!
A comparison to the nuptial bliss Tiger Woods had.
I fear for Brian's putting game.
I'm sure Brian's new wife will rub his balls for luck and Brian's putter will rise to the occasion. [Stolen from Johnny Carson.]
As far as I can surmise Brian's been living with his now wife for quite some time. Marriage won't change their day to day dynamics much. Their first kid on the other hand will.
When the first MGoOffspring is announced (or leaked) the "what should Brian name his kid" threads!!!
We've got enough Michigan related Dog names on here, I can't wait for the speculation about the MGoBaby
/S - I hope we let Brian have a personal life away from the blog
/Less than S - I think these threads would be hilarious
The only suitable name is Fielding Harris.
I also find it obvious that it is the wife's life that will be changing, not Brian's.
The marriage will, like most marriages do, cause Brian to gain some weight. This will surely slow down his typing speed as his hands will be fatter and heavier. This will cause us to wait longer for posts. So to give you the answer you were fishing for, the blog is indeed going to hell in a handbasket, directly due to Brian's wedding.
The first year, things around here might get a little slower since Brian will be paying more attention to his bride (and getting lots of "attention", ifyaknowwhati'mtalkinabout). Each year thereafter, he'll have more and more time for us until, sometime 5-10 years from now, surfing for Michigan porn will be his typical day.
Tiger didn't lose the fire, he just transferred it from gold to poon
I just wish he would bring back negbangs for stupid ass posts like this one. My stance on the moderate button is and will remain that it is lame.
Absolutely I'm worried. Do you expect Brian to continue this blog forever? Sometimes life changes can get in the way of things like this.
you guys really think something like holy matrimony would affect brian's posts at mgoblog
You are the messiah. where the fuck were you 20, 15,& 8 years ago? I would be retired right now.
