This was totally worth skipping overtime at work for this game!

This was totally worth skipping overtime at work for this game!
THEY WON!!!!!! GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!
i've got a boner
in every sense of the word - win, 1st night game, defense is starting to look like a real um defense, coaching, etc.
god I wish I would of bought over priced tickets for me and the wife. that was amazing!
Tell you what... the tape's gonna be uggggggggggggggly.
But a win's a win, baby. That's huge.
OMG! OMG! OMG! Unbelievable!
Imagine the impact on the visiting recruits!!!!!!!
This was the most amazing game I have ever watched. Just a great game. Anyone who was at this game - remember this forever.
Anyone at this game im so jealous... I might hate you a little!
This made a rather shitty day tuna fishing just so much better.
YES YES YES hahahahahaha i cannot express myself. wow.
I wanna see his blog....He is Melting down I love it
What is the over/under on the number of commitments we pull in tomorrow?
Roy!!! Sorry for posting earlier that I have lost faith in you!!! you the man...Now catch the ball like that all the time!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ESPN Classic should air this game tomorrow.
With apologies to Steven Wright, this game was such an instant classic I nearly went back in time.
HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT.
That is all.
This is how legends are made.
Who else was absolutely dreading a game tying FG attempt?
Answer: Brady Hoke
Me. The last thing we need is our fragile kicker trying to make a game tying field goal in the closing seconds. He has made like 3 out of 12
Hoke's demeanor on the sideline is something else. It never change...from the start to the end...it was the same throughout the game!
That is all
Denard > Notre Dame
Great victory on a national stage and in front of a number of (2103) recruits. #1 recruiting class next year?
I'm looking at you Danny O'Brien. Come on down. Diamond, Payton, and Yuri as well.
I hope all those recruits that haven't committed yet just soaked it all in!
Denard got away with more shit than I thought was possible just because he's Denard. The UFR is gonna look bad, but damn I won't forget that one until the Alzheimer's strikes.
I was pessimistic and pissy; I am here to crown you optimists who didn't give up as superior to my pissy, pessimistic response to the first three quarters.
You people are better than I and GO BLUE.
That was incredible.
sophmore Hopkins who played last year is not ready yet freshman rawls is?
Glad it wasnt just me, I thought Campbell looked pretty solid. Maybe this game can give him some confidence and springboard his game.
That was great.
I know we'll all remember that last ND TD, but the defense played MUCH better than in years past. Mattison did get RPS'ed a bit, but looking at who was out there I'm surprised this team only gave up 31 points. After those first two drives, the defense really did buckle down and forced ND to earn its points. I know people will look at all the yards and how the turnovers stalled scoring drives, but defenses that force long drives have a better chance of random turnovers and penalties slowing down a good offense. And ND's offense was good - it might be the best UM will see this year. So while I definitely agree that it is a work in progress, I have real hope. And if you are a DT or LB in America who likes Zingermann's, by all means give UM a look.
Speechless. God bless our cotton pickin maize n blue hearts.
This will rival AC's 41 yard catch to beat Indiana on the last play of the game as the best finish in a Michigan game. I was at that game but watched this on the big screen and can say that both AC catch and run and the final drive tonight are the most exciting Michigan moments I have seen.
WOW! I have never seen 3 tds in the final 1:12 Simply amaizein.
AC's catch was a little before my time, so I appreciate your perspective.
Henne to Manningham to beat PSU was pretty sweet, plus style points
Are you @#$%ing kidding me? That play, and especially the last 1:12, beats the crap out of that '79 play.
AC made a great individual play, period. Michigan was tied (TIED ... TIED ... @#$%ing TIED) with a perennial Big Ten doormat, at home (AT HOME). If Bob Ufer hadn't blown an O-ring in the booth (GOD BLESS HIS COTTON PICKIN' something or other) that play wouldn't be nearly as legendary.
Oh, and Jasper saw it, so don't pull any of your youngin' crap on me. Just don't.
There are numerous plays in the last thirty years that were bigger (in impact) than AC's play. Here's a short list:
* Braylon x several at Braylonfest
* Manningham, '05
* Tate, '09
* Denard, '10
OMFG. Jasper tired!
My Dad screwed up getting tickets to this game, so I had to settle on Purdue.
But anyway, what is going to be the nickname for this game?
Amaize-za-zing has 3 sylables.
in the 4th quarter:
70% completion, 202 pass yards, 20.2 ypa, 3 td (1 int). WOW.
DRob gave a nice interview, was humble about his 450yd performance and hyped the atmosphere at the game and gave props to the students for still being there- "I wanna keep this jersey... I just wanna remember all this. Look at all this stuff right here, man. lookat the fans. THEY STILL HERE! The game is over!"
I didn't realize that he was a demi-god of some sort.
I can't quite describe my reaction. Is it possible to have a stroke in a good way?
EDIT: Did you guys just hear Denards "WHAT?!" when he was told his stats? What a great kid.
Very nice to see Ryan and #7 (kid from FLA) make some BIG plays consistently through the game. Bodes well to have those two develop.
D bent like crazy, rode luck and opportunities. Too bad for them on the blown coverage on domer's last possession, I was impressed with their resolve.
Kovacs got everything near him. JT ridiculously overmatched 1-on-1.
The O, don't know where to begin. They know where to end it though.
How the hell did we win this thing?????
Does anyone know when BTN replays these games? I'd like to watch this one again, this time without the emotional roller coaster.
like that guy Tom Cruise
Go Blue! --Desmond echoes are awesome.
And I love that we did. ND is really rocking some anti-luck, because they are absolutely incapable of winning a close game. They dominated strecthes, and if not for more turnovers they win easily. God thing rees was easily rattled by the blitzes and pressure...and I give Mattison a ton of credit for his playcalling, giving our D the opportunity to keep us in the game.
And of course, denard. Even I was doubting him earlier...I'm now almost ashamed that I did!
Around me after we scored.
Hoke's demeanor on the sideline is really remarkable.
We run some complicated stuff on defense. It damn near burned us today but the coaches will make these kids better and when this defense gets healthy and used to the system it will be a huge improvement from a scheme perspective. We don't have monster talent right now at all and the d-line is worrying as hell but some of those turnovers are coming from a QB that's confused.
My god the offense needs to get better. These next two weeks should help with that. Borges needs to figure out which parts of the playbook to keep and which to pitch. I still think he will manage it.
We won that game on "luck," but I really think the demeanor of the two programs showed through here too.
I was skeptical when I first saw them online, but the throw back jerseys were great for this game.
