Possible replacement for Partridge

Submitted by Jkidd49 on

Head coach Stephen Field has left North Marion (Fla.) HS to explore opportunities on the college level. True player's coach w/ bright future

perhaps just a coincidence but if Bush Sr. wants to stay in FL this makes some sense

Is Bush at IMG? If so, the nation's top player for 2017 announced he is transferring there. Dylan Moses. I gotta assume it at least allows us to pitch him for the good guys. Edit: no he its not. But isn't Harbaugh doing a camp at IMG? Either way, probably not a bad thing that Moses id's transferring. Although, he looks to be a 100 lock to the SEC.

I happened to see on some FL recruiting twitter that Miami (YTM) is supposed to be hiring a FL HS coach into a former-Partridge type role. And the coach is not from South Florida, so that would mean not Bush Sr.

Why?

How do any of us know he'd be a good fit for the position?

Does someone have some inside information on Bush and how he projects to a recruiting coordinator role? Are we just speculating because there's been mention of it? Because his son goes to Michigan? Because we want Florida recruits like we want the Jersey kids this year?

What's the reason for all of this love over something not one person on this board can speak to with any type of knowledge.

Partridge was AWESOME - but none of us knew going in it would turn out like that. We just went yay! We got Jabrill's coach, now he won't transfer! Oh shit...the #1 recruit goes there too?!

People use that "IN HARBAUGH I TRUST" meme far too much, it's silly at times. This is NOT one of those times. Harbaugh will pick the best person for the position and we'll be better because of it.

Us recommending names like we even have a clue is so silly. It's not like the DC search where we can read articles, bios, watch film, etc. on a potential candidate - we're truly just going off something that sounds nice.

It sounds like you dont like the idea of Bush Sr. if he's the choice. I think you are right about some things but first, we would have to see if he actually wants the job and is willing to move his family to AA. He may genuinely enjoy working with H.S. kids and not want to walk away from the program he has built in Florida.

If he would I think that the coaches have had time to feel each other out since summer swarm. Qute frankly, I think his resume thus far is impressve and he brings all of the qualities (on paper) that Harb. is assembling at M.

Maybe he can bring a bit more insight into recruiting SEC Country
