Possible recruiting relevance: FCAT problems in Florida
This may or many not affect the Demar Dorsey drama, but results for the test that FL HS students must pass to graduate is being delayed, in some cases, up to six weeks, due to an apparent lack of competence on the part of the testing agency. Here's the link:

just get on campus please
DD is not being admitted, right?
I wish people would stop speaking so definitively on this topic or at least mention whether it is their "gut feeling" or they have been told by someone on the inside.
I don't care if it is something Brian or Sam Webb said, both have proven over the past year that their "guts" are prone to mistake. It is fine if you trust everything they say and count it as gospel, but some here don't.
Just elaborate as to how you have drawn this conclusion so people reading can see how you came to it and decide whether they want to agree with it or not.
Coming out and simply making a statement like that and passing it off as fact without any justification doesn't add anything to the conversation.
So please, tell me how you are so sure of this please?
you run a 4.4 forty, obviously. How else would 90% of scholarship players be admitted to Michigan? You think if they weren't football players that they would be admitted? I'm betting a no on that one. There would be a few of course, but the majority wouldnt make it in.
Yes, Michigan has different standards (higher than just the Clearinghouse). I don't know exactly what they are (and they are not obscenely high, just higher than the minimum), but do know that they exist.
"...the state opted to have the writing tests this year graded by one person instead of two."
ALL Florida HS seniors were to have their writing tests graded by ONE person? How many thousands of HS seniors do you suppose FLA has? How all these tests could be graded by even twenty people is beyond me.
that each test will be scored once, with no secondary review to make sure the first score was right. This does not mean the same person is grading every test, just that each test will only be seen by one person.
D'oh! I should have thought of this, since it's so obvious in hindsight.
It's ok man, it's been a long offseason.
of all the different conference expansion scenarios. I need a Cray supercomputer to handle the modeling algorithms.
Actually, it wasn't awkward, it just was not written in the best way to say what it meant. Not your fault for that.
it was reviewed by only one editor, instead of two.
you win on that one plus one to you
