The positives

1. UM won, we are 4-0, thats a 133% improvement over last season and still on target for an all important bowl game. 2. UM played yakkity sax and still won 3. Denard Robinson completed a rope of a pass, baby steps Denard, baby steps. 4. Carlos Brown looks like a force to be reckoned with 5. A patchwork oline was still able to open some holes for the running game. Pass protection needs work 6. Thank the heavens for Tate Forcier, the kids a legend in the 4th game of his Michigan career. 30 years ago #5 hit AC for a last second win over IU.......parallels to history people. 7. After battling to take the lead and getting punched in the gut right away, Michigan responded and scored to win the game when they HAD to. 8. The defense finally made a play 9. We are 4-0

Go blue. Nice win. Tate played a game that most seniors would be jealous of. I'm sure he was hurt, and to throw that pass at the end is amazing. Thank God his father was born in MI!

Technically it's a 33% improvement in wins over last year. A 133% improvement would be 7 wins, which I think is still what we'll end up with.

... that badly last year... probably not so hard to do considering it was nearly every game. The difference is this year we won. I couldn't imagine a much sloppier performance on offense -- penalties, turnovers, missed snaps, etc... -- and we still won. Wouldn't want to do it every game and there are many issues to resolve, but a win is a win for now.

That is the most positive thing coming out of today's game. The defense worries me still but they showed some good things in holding IU to all of those field goals. I also think Sparty was on the mind of the players, at least a little bit. I know the coaches do their best to keep the players focused but this was a trap game, for sure. Next week should be a very fun game to watch because Michigan has been eying this game ever since Sparty came in to AA last year and won.

1. This team has freshman and sophomores playing that didn't last year, factor in transfers, etc. and there aren't many people other than the coaches that really remember much of last year's Sparty win. (and even they only have 1 year in the system) 2. Have you seen the roster of the players (particularly starters?) most aren't even from michigan and have no experience growing up with the UM/MSU rivalry. 1 game at a time.

A sign of a great team is that they lose the turnover margin and lots of bad snaps and still win. I think there were 6 bad snaps and we were minus 1 in the turnover department and still won.
