I got in trouble for being negative yesterday..come on no posts about the bball game today?? Gibson looking like Steven Threet loping in from the wing around Lurch was classic it brought the roof down. The team is small and young, but they play hard and hustle for those boards even though they are overmatched strength and size wise at times. This is the kind of team you have fun rooting for even though you know championship dreams are a little unrealistic. This is the 1st time in years I was able to sit and enjoy watching full games instead of throwing the controller and saying WTF are we doing??

Illinois used to be a big win. Does anyone have any idea how good they actually are this year. At any rate, who cares? M has already topped its win total from last year. I doubt they're done looking at the rest of the conference.

has beaten two ranked teams in Purdue and Missouri. Their only other loss besides Michigan is an unbeaten Clemson team by only 2 points.

Illinois was 13-1 coming into the game and had just beaten Purdue (the Big Ten preseason favorite) on the road.

On the west coast and can't catch these games. How is LLP doing? I know he's been solid from behind the 3 and is getting most of his points from there, but is he also creating plays for others and scoring in different ways?

LLP gets a lot of points from 3, but the last two games he's also taken it to the rack and gotten to the foul line or finding an open teammate. He hasn't played any PG, but he seems like he could in a pinch. He takes pretty good care of the ball and is showing some ability to penetrate.
