Wow, it just keeps getting better and better in Columbus.

When your team is winning, be ready to be tough, because winning can make you soft. On the other hand, when your team is losing, stick by them. Keep believing.

Tressel could issue a gag order, but it sounds like there is a lot of gagging going on in Columbus as it is.

Thanks for the link to the article. I do have one question that I would like to throw out there though. If Pryor is further along at this point in time than Troy Smith and Vince Young, then how good will Tate Forcier be? In my view Tate is ahead of Pryor now. So then later, I guess Tate will be a Superman.

The knock on Forcier has been that he has hit his ceiling, while Pryor contains that untapped font of QB greatness. I don't really buy that, though. Forcier's "ceiling" may really be a boring QB who does nothing but make the right read, time and time again, while turning the ball over only four times while leading Michigan to a National Championship. Pryor may inspire cries of "How the hell did he DO that?", but he also inspires cries of "What the hell was he DOING?". As Tate improves, I think we'll all just sit back and be grateful for him.

I'd take a boring QB to win a NC. I don't think Tate has reached his ceiling. He might be closer to it than most freshman, but he still has a ways to go. He misses WR sometimes, he decides to run the ball too quickly sometimes, and runs the ball sometimes on 3rd and long when he doesn't have a great chance to make it. He needs to get more comfortable while staying in the pocket too. While he is very good, espcially for a true freshman, he can still get quite a bit better.

he'd have two years as he didn't redshirt.

Terrelle Pryor's going to be a Heisman contender by his senior year. There's no question in my mind. He's an incredible talent and Tressel will get his wrinkles worked out on offense.

Here's to a few good games in the next three seasons.

He was a Heisman candidate to start THIS year. I don't doubt that he is talented, but the dude's got some serious mental-capacity issues. There is too much going on at once for him, it seems. He can't get out of his own way...

Last year, he (relatively) succeeded because they had a quarter of a playbook to use. This year, they've tried expanding it for him, and he can't handle it.

I think he was referenced as a possible Heisman candidate because of all this potential that people saw in him given his physical gifts. That doesn't actually mean he's a talented quarterback.

I have to agree with you. Remember how unimpressive one Jimmy Clausen looked until the Hawaii game last year? We all thought it was a fluke, he couldn't sustain that level of play. Well he's been a pretty damn good QB this year and very accurate even without Floyd in the line-up. I hate Notre Dame and Jimmah but I won't deny his skill. Same deal with Pryor, he's still dangerous when playing to his strengths and has time to improve.

Clausen has 2 NFL receivers and a senior offensive line. I know he he's a good qb, with a powerful arm that is accurate when not under pressure, but I think the offense takes a good sized step back next year once the o-line graduates. Clausen just falls apart under pressure.

There's definitely question. If next year this time we're still labeling him as has great "potential" then I think we start to realize it's just that - something unfulfilled. But at this point the entire OSU offense is less than impressive at almost every position and that's a lot of players that were highly recruited.
