POSBANG: Notre Dame goes down - AGAIN!

Submitted by crg on

To hell with Notre Dame!

Upside: Another step forward in the path for UM reclaiming the overall win percentage.  Also good for Big Ten in general.  ND almost certainly out of playoff picture.

Downside:  MSU looks like they might be a challenge.  We'll see how they do against Wisconsin next week.

Also, Brian Kelly is still an ass.

Bang on!

EDIT:  It looks like if UM finishes with 1 more win than ND this season (same # of games assumed), we reclaim the record.

isnt that good of a win. nd lost to texas who just lost to an unranked Cal. Sparty was coming off a bye week so they had extra time to prepare for ND! Sparty's vame plan looked like they wanted ND to beat them in the air by stuffing the box. UM's opposition will be doing this to us all year, so we should be well prepaired to handle Sparty!

Well, that'll never happen because they are a true blue blood remember? Michigan isn't I guess over them and the suckeyes. They failed to look at both of their all time records vs. Michigan. College football cant have a blue blood ranked low and then losing multiple times every year to be knocked out of the rankings over and over again! LMAO Such arrogant dumbasses! I always think of Palpatine saying that arrogance blinds in Star Wars. Its actually true.

Exactly. ND isn't a real test for Sharty. I really don't think Bama is that impressive either. They have a good defense, big offensive line and Ridley. Sucknuts looked good but we'll see how all of that speed that Urbz recruited from down south can handle November when a hungry and elder Michigan squad comes to town.

The negativity of people blows my mind sometimes. Does MSU really look good? They almost blew a 29 point lead. Notre Dame looked really bad to me. Good for them for getting the win, but how can you even say MSU looks better than us? MSU looked dominant on a couple drives with their OL, but also looked pretty bad at certain times throughout the game. Michigan did some good things today, but also has a lot to improve on. Have you not watched a season of college football before? Weird shit happens, and it's extremely difficult to try to compare teams with 2 and 3 games played (Hell, it's dificult after 12+ games, too). Michigan pulled out a comfortable win (for some of you no win is comfortable). MSU won a weird game. OSU is stomping Oklahoma (another team that always seems like a disappointment). Drive yourself insane comparing teams all you want, but it's a waste of time. Enjoy the season, and enjoy Peppers while we have him.
