Mod Edit: I'm not deleting this. If I do, it will be up again in another hour. Still, really awful terrible design. [zl]

Valued Fans Donors,

The Athletic Department has received numerous letters expressing concern about the future of Michigan's uniforms. Today, we are happy to allay these concerns by announcing that we have partnered with Charles Sollars to create the future of Michigan.  Do not fear, Big Blue Nation, the "split block M" in the leaked design is only a placeholder for a completely redesigned Arby's logo.

Love,

David

The guys just designing stuff, it's not like we're going to use them. More power to him if thats what he wants to do in my opinion. I mean who knows how much experience this guy has? But yes I would prefer NOT to mess with the classic of Michigans uniforms. An occasional alternate is alright, as long as their not completely hideous.

Normally I'd say these "uniforms" will never see the light of day, but with Brandon thinking that uniform changes were a good idea last year, we may never know.

These are appalling in every sense of the word. Everything from the split M to the helmets. Why would one EVER change the helmets?

So I read everyone's comments before I actually looked at those...things.  So I of course thought you all were a bunch of over-exaggerating ninnies.  Needless to say, the gif below closely reflects my reaction upon first seeing those god awful monstrosities:

to somebody with no real creative talent who doesn't know what the fuck they're doing, or why they're doing it. The Michigan helmet and uniform are not broken, yet people still insist on trying to fix them.

And yes, we are graduating far too many designers, and have been for almost two decades.

I dont wanna hear or see any more uniform changes,at least the home ones. We already have the sweetest lookin home uniforms of all time, without question. If you want to tinker with the road uniforms go ahead, I've always thought they were a big drop off, from the home uniforms.

Yea these are less than appealing, but at least the guy made an effort and was having some fun with it..lets not rip him entirely. And truthfully, if someone would have posted the UTL uniforms 5 years ago they probably would have gotten the same reaction.

I liked the Sugar Bowl jerseys and am not against them mixing it up. These uniforms look like baby shit hit them in a windstorm. Gross!

Is it just me or are uniforms quickly becoming almost another facet of the game, where the pregame coverage focuses on the uniforms before the players wearing them?

I don't even know how you can even call that crap a concept. Terrible. Please delete this off the internet & my mind

Dear Designer:

Please don't listen to the above nay-sayers; your designs are HOT, HOT, HOT!  We simply cannot wait for a cool,  autumn Saturday watching our beloved Wolverines charge out of the tunnel wearing these new threads.  To say we'll win the fashion war would be an understatement.....these new jerseys rock!

You can count on us sporting these babies at our next show!

Your pal,

Pop Evil

I can't totally rip him. He likes to have some fun and get creative.

The part I worry about is him tempting Brandon to get even more uniforms than we have and roll one of these out for The Jug Game this year. To scary to think about. Get it out of my head.

On second thought we should start a pool to pay this guy to hide his picture from Brandon forever.

Overheard in Dave Brandon's office: "If only they had some Adidas branding on them they would be perfect, the younger demographic will eat them up and we will make a fortune."

That maize, on the pants of the uni to the left, the BTN's favorite, looks to be the right shade. Other than that, damn, fugly, like a Nike designed US mens and womens' national team jersey.
