Poggi Official Visit to Bama per 247
I'm not sure if this was the coaches had in mind when they cleared the visit... EDIT: Poggi has arrived in Tuscaloosa for his visit. I know the coaches cleared him to join his father on a business trip but I'm not sure if they cleared an OV.

Yeah it is. VH said the Poggi's dad doesn't comment about stuff like this so it's difficult to establish the voracity of rumors. Like how did 247 confirm?

but it still had my "rumor" tag fixed to it at the time he posted. I'm assuming some people didn't see the need for the second thread, and that's partly to blame for the negs. I had thought about consolidating it, but the traffic to the other one has slowed down considerably and they are two distinctly different topics: one was a rumor early in the day, this is news confirming that he landed in Tuscaloosa.

Official visits after declaring bother me a little, but at the same time, I don't care a lot.  I want guys that are "all in."  If a kid has an inkling of whether or not they want to go to Michigan, it's a problem.

On Jan 12 he tweeted about recruiting being a continuous process with the hash tag #sec. Perhaps he felt that Bama was paying his son a little more attention down the stretch? Just speculation, but this one would hurt...

It certainly doesn't sound like something the father of a kid heading to Michigan would say.  

And this shows poorly on Poggi's dad.  You'd think he would want his son to go to the school that was the best for him, not which one recruited him the most.

If that really is his dad's twitter account, he should be careful.  He's the head coach of a high school that has started to churn out a few good players lately.  You don't want to piss off an entire conference - not all of his kids can go to the SEC or Ohio.  You don't want to piss off an entire conference.
