But that being said, I think we can be optimistic.  If it indeed is Diamond who Pipkins is talking about, then I think we have a pretty good chance at landing the two of them.  And that  would be amazing.

Also, Pipkins tweeted after to Garnett that he wanted to talk "business" with him.  So my money is that he heard that Diamond is commiting, and he's trying to get Garnett  board too.

But you bring up a good point, we've been wrong before.  Many times.  However, I'm pretty sure it's a good time for optimism.

Jordan Diamond () has NOT committed to Michigan. Just got confirmation from him.

So either we were wrong, and he has not/will not commit, he is planning on commiting but has not commited yet, or he is a silent commit, and is just waiting to announce.

However that can be interpreted, I think we probably (sadly) can loosen up our respective seatbelts for the time being.

Dee Hart decommited when RR was ousted.  However, I think a good example would be Dunn.  So many of us here—myself included—thought we had him in our fold a month or so ago, but things ended up going other ways.  The recruiting game is one which can be very hard to predict, even with the best information.

Just showed the tweet to my GF. She knows nothing about Michigan recruiting, but the first word out of her mouth was "Garnet." Then proceeded to tell me I don't get her enough jewelry.

Per Wikipedia: "The garnet (pronounced /ˈɡɑrnɨt/) group includes a group of minerals that have been used since the Bronze Age as gemstones and abrasives. The name "garnet" comes from 14th century Middle English word gernet meaning 'dark red'..."

Everybody remain calm. Secure your childrens' masks before your own. Oxygen may be flowing even though the bag does not appear to inflate. And buckle up.
