Mount St. Mary's hired a private equity CEO to be their president. You'll never guess what happened next.
Pipkens down to four?
Yes, and Michigan and Missouri are probably ahead of the other two. It came from the same article that talked about him maybe committing at the BBQ if he "felt it".
about pipkins top four just said a few days ago that ondre pipkins could be nearing a decision.
it is saturday in fargo north dakota and frankly really boring. I have been wondering lately about the possible commits that may come this weekend with the BBQ. Please could someone start a thread of what is everybodys wishlist of commits that could possibly come this weekend. I mean come on a little fantasy wont hurt anyone and i would be hugely grateful to read what others hopeful commits would be so please and thank you. And sorry for posting off topic and sorry about the format i am on my phone.
It seems like he may be more down to one...
I agree, I think he and at least three others will commit to Michigan tomorrow.
Wromley, a 2013 kid, a WR, and Zak Irvin (2013 basketball recruit choosing between us and Butler tomorrow).
Just read from a site not to be named that the Butler coaches already conceded Zak Irvin. If we get him and McGary, we'll be Big Ten contenders for many years to come.
State hasn't been in it for Pipkins for a while. I'm pretty sure his top-_ (6 of 7 I believe) did not contain State.
If we get him this weekend, I'm going to be dancing.
The whole fanbase is in denial. They still think they can get pipkins, o'brien, and all of the other prospects who have already commited to play for us. It might take a while for reality to set in though, most of them still haven't accepted that greg jones and kalin lucas didn't get drafted in the first round.
They've finally accepted that Jones and Lucas were not high draft choices, but they still expect them to become all-pros who shame all those teams that passed them by.
Ha, sparty is so cute.
This is off topic, but there is nowhere else to ask..... I've heard a lot about the scoreboards, but are they putting up permanent light towers? or will they just be putting those lights on top of the luxury suites like they do for the 330 games? I'm sure they know what theyre doing, but that wouldnt seem like it'd provide enough light for a night game.
They installed permanent lights last year and they were used for the hockey game in the Big House.
they deploy when you want them, and move back under cover when you don't want to see them.
This kid seems to be a wild card but it looks like he does it all in fun. I am just saying dont trust anything until he officially pulls the trigger. I think Michigan will be his choice though.
This is like my inner conflict come to fruition. I'm a life long Michigan fan and a Butler student. Obviously I love both basketball programs.
I think we need him more than you do.
Actually, probably not. We are dying for another scorer. The loss of Matt Howard and Shelvin Mack means that some of our young guys need to step up at least until the next good player comes along.
I'm in the same boat. I'm a die hard Michigan fan but I also attend butler...we can't lose either way though!
Pipkins down to #1 . . . . come on man get it done!!
I could see Burbridge not coming. Who else is not coming?
Jordan Diamond maybe, he's not making the BBQ but instead the next Friday.
He may have good excuses to miss the "Meet and Meat".
I would say that a commitment to another school is enough to keep a certain wide receiver prospect away. Namely Burbridge.
Not sure for what reason. We definitely need TomVH.
That just sounds wrong.
I use to think he was as blue as Chris Wormley, but now...
I hope I'm wrong here.
But is he really a class make or breaker at this point? A lot of O-Line prospects still on the board, and even if we got no more, it wouldn't be the end of the world.
Kids onto campus, build up the chase for that spot.
He is not, but he has been a favorite for so long
No need for the sorry sparty, haha.
Tennessee is stacked at DT, I don't think he's going there. Same goes for O'Brien.
