Pick 1 current UMer in the NFL to come back

Pick one current Michigan Man currently playing in the NFL that you think would have the largest impact on this year's team. I suspect 99% of us would pick a defensive player. Woodson

Woodson on "D", Brady on "O", and I would have to go Brady if I had to pick just one. I don't imagine Tom running the "option-read"- "And Brady once again calls an audible"- so if we wanted a qb to follow script, perhaps Henson or Leach. My second D pick, Jarrett Irons.

in the league? Some d-line depth would be nice. But seriously folks, it would be Charles Woodson or Lamar Woodley. Bookends of Woodley and Graham wouldn't even be fair. Woodson would instantly upgrade our secondary from sucky to good.

but I still miss Anthony Carter. A.C. had this electric way of finding the end zone (it seemed like) almost every time he touched the football. You had to love his socks. For current players, I'd be picking between David Harris and Charles Woodson. Pick your poison: shut down 1/3 of the passing game or 1/3 the running game. Sad thing is, I still believe that the defense still wouldn't even be average with one more stud.

The player as they were at Michigan, or as they are now? Probably changes the answer. Guys I'd love to see back from the last 15 years: Woodson Shazor Harris Burgess Edwards Terrell Hart Biakabutuka Long Hutchinson Baas Woodley Foote

For the fact that if you bring Woodson back your linebackers still are not great and if you bring Harris back the secondary is still not that good. So I would say bring Back Braylon we could use a deep threat to stretch out the D, or just throw it up to him and let him go get it.

On Woodson. Game changer for sure on any defense. Nobody would throw his way and it would take the pressure off the rest of the defense. Plus I just love me some Charles muthaphuckin Woodson.

Mike Hart puts it in the end zone last week against Illinois. Probably doesn't need four tries to do it either and he holds on to the ball as well. How many fumbles this year have come on the other team's side of the field?

and ends with Woodson ("Woodson Woodson"?). It would fill the most holes (minor upgrade at safety (Woolfolk returning), insane upgrade at CB, insane upgrade at PR).

Not to be a Debbie Downer (and I picked Woodson, too), but Woodson wasn't that great of a punt returner. He just had The Return that makes everyone think he was great. If anybody wants a current NFLer to upgrade the punt returner position, look no further than Steve Breaston.

Drew Henson in Rich-Rod's offense would be unstoppable. Doesn't anyone remember how he was the greatest quarterback ever while actually at Michigan? He could throw bullets and run. Stupid Yankees ruining everything. Potentially costing us a MNC those asshole World Champions.
