I don't know which poster it was and I don't remember when exactly, but someone on this board predicted that we would play rich rod in a bowl in the near future, and on that day we would rue it!

I live a mile from Levi's Stadium.  At least it would make us full of anticipation to be in a third-rate bowl.  The meltdown on this site would open a portal to another dimension.

For the sake of the children and all that is good and decent in this world, I pray that this matchup not take place. For one, if we lost, I would be concerned that Ann Arbor would burn to the ground.

RichRod would stay awake for weeks crafting up the game plan of his life to try and beat us. If we lost, it would honestly be rock bottom for this program. Yes, people, we can sink much lower than where we are right now.

That would have to be the final nail in Hoke's coffin, and I'm honestly not sure that DB would be able to retain Hoke if a disaster like that happened.

While I would welcome only having to travel across the bay bridge to see Michigan play, it would only mean, sadly, that we could not get on to a top tier Noel game and therefore it would be bitter sweet .

1.  If it happens, they should rename it the "David Brandon Bowl."

2.  Ifi Michigan were to lose, I would hope that David Brandon's resignation was on the President's desk the next day at 9am sharp.

Only for comedy and the mgoblog implosion would I love to see it. We looked like crap against ND, but man if this was to happen were probably looking at 7-5, 6-6 type season.

UM was good enough to make a bowl game this year, and it wasn't a bowl in Michigan? It's really nice seeing that Phil Steele is giving UM props. It won't be long now and he may even predict a Fla. bowl. Maybe even UM beating Staee, Naw I kid....

would probably invent a completely new genre of offense never seen before that would leave us spinning and dumbfounded.

However it would be interesting to see if a RichRod team could play D or kick for points.  Both seem to lack focus on certain days.  I watch Az from time to time and always root against them which is irrational hatred I realize but it hurts no one so please allow me a few nefarious moments.

The pregame week would be a complete media firestorm.

So was RR. But DB fired him because of tradition. Basketball on grass + dreadlocks = creative destruction of M Tradition (and Sugar Bowl win in year 4). DB+BH+slow tempo i.e. Manball (or better, Michigan Man ball) = zero OOC road wins vs. marque opponents for the foreseeable future. The tradition at M was innovation, you ignorant sluts. Now we got our Michigan Man, though. Without innovation, M will come to stand for Mediocre. Better to follow the example of Chicago (focus on core competency - academics - and drop D1 football) than to continue this futile quest. As for future glory for beloved M, foe the sake of all humanity, let it be in STEM and not football.
