True Blue Grit

next year.  We'll be swimming in QB's as it is, with several high potential guys to choose from:  O'Korn, Gentry, Peters - plus the experienced guys who have been around a while, Morris, Speight, and Malzone.  I'd much prefer someone who has been in the system for a year or more vs. a new guy coming in who has to learn everything in a few months.

"Peters finished his senior year with 3,103 passing yards and 37 touchdowns (with five interceptions), completing 60.1 percent of his passes. For his career, Peters finished with 6,384 passing yards, 71 touchdowns and 20 interceptions. He also rushed for 13 TDs."

Granted, it would be much harder to get those sorts of numbers at the college level, but if it is any indicator at all of the potential productivity, I don't think anyone would complain at all. Congratulations to him on winning Indiana Mr. Football!

So pumped for this kid. I said as soon as he committed that he has the highest ceiling of any of this years QB's. I think Peters is literally Andrew Luck 2.0 but with better athleticism. I am so pumped to see his progress.

In a recent interview he made it clear that he is enrolling early to compete for the starting job, and I wouldn't count him out.
