Sherman and Earl Thomas told Y! Sports that Harbaugh drove by the Seahawks' team bus in the Candlestick Park parking lot following the Niners' 13-6 victory in October and mockingly saluted the vanquished visitors.
"He honked his horn at the bus and waved," said Sherman, who did not witness the incident. "That happened — a bunch of the guys told me. Yeah, he was [honking]."
Yeah, I laughed pretty hard at that actually, mostly because it seems so Harbaugh and I can totally see him doing it. I don't know that it would go over well at the collegiate level, but drive by the MSU or OSU bus under the same conditions....yeah, I wouldn't complain, although I am sure they would.
I can see him doing that, then burning out in the parking lot and calling John to brag about it. My only question is what song he was jamming to as he saluted/waved.
C'mon...obviously it was "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"!
This is inadmissible. I've watched enough law and order to object to Richard Sherman's testimony as hearsay.
Coach Harbaugh is all kinds of awesome.
...to respect them. However, now that JH is not dealing directly on Pete, he may come to like him a bit.
Pete Carroll has had a lot of JH's former college players on his team. I'm guessing he respects his work as a coach.
They both each grew to respect each other for what a great competitive rivalry they had at both the college and NFL level

While I still believe Pete to be a douche, it's a positive trait to be able to look back at past rivalries with good humor.
I think it means all of those teams have fewer seniors.
