If one were to believe for a moment that the depth chart IS the depth chart and then look at Florida's depth chart, yeah, one would see that they are still quite undecided about who exactly will get the lion's share of the snaps at QB. 

Although, from the sound of the Florida blogosphere, that might be the actual situation - that is, who the hell knows.

Wow, that chess analogy was one of the most bizarre things I've ever heard from a football coach, and that includes all the antics from John L Smith. And then Pete follows it up with "if you and Harbaugh played chess my money's on you." I'm almost embarrassed for him. I actually think my 7 year old could beat McElwain and finebaum at Chess.

Yeah, that was cringe worthy. I'm not sure how much chess harbaugh has played, but after listening to that exchange, I would put money on harbaugh in that chess match. What about "I'm going to throw some pawns out there and see what the knights will do" makes you think this guy would be good at chess?

It seems that the chess player in question is not Bobby Fischer, but instead the player who inspired the film searching for bobby fischer. 

The fact that Jim followed the chess career of a lesser known grand master closely enough to recognized him in public, makes me feel pretty confident that he would destroy the shark enthusiast in a game of chess.

I feel bad for McElwain because he clearly was unprepared for the chess analogy and tried to flub his way through to a semi-coherent point. It's almost adorable.

But Pete remains as idiotic as ever.

Why is McElwain's voice quivering? Pahhhhwllll even leads with a pander with saying it's game week so no need to ask about the offseason, even though talking about all the dudes suspended a) would be highly relevant, and b) will be the go-to excuse. I have a good feeling Calloway will be 2017's equivalent of PSU linebackers.
