Permanent captains thread

I know the list is coming out this afternoon, so lets hear some of your choices.

Mine:

Graham
Zoltan
Stevie Brown

I thought about putting Minor and Moosman there but chose to stay away and make it a more exclusive honor to guys who have undoubtedly earned it.

I am willing to bet not one list on this thread excludes the three I have listed. That should be the criteria for making it on the official list.

Tom Harmon's last game:  In a 40-0 victory over OSU, he scored scoring three rushing tds, two passing tds, 4 extra points, 3 interceptions and punted 3 times. He was given an standing ovation by the OSU crowd.

Is it just me

or does anyone else not get why you would name captains as their walking out the door. I always found "game" captains to be lame too. Name your captains for the season in August and they're it until the season is over. It's no big deal really but just saying.

Agreed, that would be a fitting reward for players who gave 100%

all of their Junior year and worked their tails off in Spring Practice (Senior year).

Game captains sounds lame and is lame. The idea seems born out of the fifth grade mentality of "everybody gets trophies".
