Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Michigan already clinched a share of their 5th straight B1G Championship.

With their 7-0 blanking of Purdue today (their 10th shutout of the season), Michigan finishes their B1G regular season at 11-0--their first perfect B1G slate since 2010-11.

Michigan is now 19-3. They will play the winner of the 8/9 matchup at 11am in the B1G Tournament Quarterfinals in Evanston on Friday.

Great weekend for the ladies in Maize & Blue all around!  Now let's hope they can cash in the tournament crown to go with the regular season one - that's always been the bugaboo for some reason.  It's amazing what a wealth of great teams we have, and how some of these things just start to feel almost automatic.  Always worth taking a moment to appreciate what a wonderful job these teams do of representing our University with excellence and class.

Men's tennis also beat Purdue today! Huge win considering their respective positions in the conference. Purdue is ranked 28th and I believe was 7-2 in conference play while Michigan was 4-5 in big ten play. Hopefully our boys can harness some of the girls' play and steal one in the big ten tournament this weekend.
