How many times does this guy have to call a kid an asshole on this esteemed board before he gets Bolvia'd? Awfully "sparty" of you to be calling a high school kid who if you've read anything about him would know is a very intelligent kid with a good head on his shoulders an asshole. Troll somewhere else bub

Calling him an asshole was uncalled for, but I agree that he does tend to showboat a little too much for my taste. He almost got Leon Lett'd on that long TD run where he slowed down at the 10-yard line and looked back at the DB who nearly caught him.

Doesn't make him a bad kid (and certainly not an asshole), though. He just needs to be sat down and told to play hard until the play is over. Then you celebrate.

True, quit justifying his actions just because he will probably be blue. Society is scared to call a kid out on this and willing to ignore it, if he were a MSU lean this board would be full of people talking trash about his on field conduct.

Dude, he's a fucking high school junior.  Maybe "society" is unwilling to go online and anonymously call a 16-year-old kid an asshole when he hasn't done anything wrong.

that you can't criticize a kid's behavior without immediately resorting to namecalling that does not reflect badly on you. I can't  Perhaps you should look in the mirror before continuing this argument. You wouldn't let the kid play for you. OK, maybe his coach isn't teaching him the same things you would.

Usually when coaches tell a DB he can play offense too, it's meaningless and evaporates the moment they first hit the practice field.  I think this is one of the rare cases where room can and should be made to get this kid a few snaps offensively.  Too much potential on both sides of the ball not to.  Not that I want to get ahead of myself either on a guy that hasn't committed, much less signed an LOI.
