That's kindof what I expect him to do. He was talking about committing after his season with a bunch of guys from his team, so doing it after his Stanford visit would definitely be a lot sooner than he expected.

Here is a quick snapshot of some of the very greatest defensive players Mattison has coached:  I'm missing quite a few as I only focused on NFL franchise All-pro credentials, but he has obviously had a chance to coach some of the greatest defensive players in the history of football.  If you start adding all NFL players and college greats . . . the Mattison list gets much larger.

  • Charles Woodson
  • Ray Lewis
  • Ty Law
  • Terrell Suggs
  • Ed Reed
  • Trevor Pryce
  • Haloti Ngata
  • Corey Redding

Man, I would take a Ty Law 2.0 any day as well.  Both Wolverines are certainly worthy of the NFL Hall of Fame.

But your right, if Peppers is being targetted for offense and special teams, that certainly wasn't Law's area of expertise . . . although Ty's three super bowl rings and 53 career NFL interceptioins also got the job done.

I generally thought Jabrill Peppers was going to be used as a Cornerback, but that 10.77 second NJ 100-meter dash record and his highlight tape certainly makes you wonder.

Apparently making fun of feminists is over the line.

Which makes me lol because people were making rape jokes in the same thread but making fun of feminists is what gets someone Bolivia'd.

It was just a matter of time before I got sent back there. I'll join the other 5 guys that were sent there the past 2 weeks.

I'm taking a break from posting for awhile.

Bon Voyage!

Judging from his past tweets, it looks like Michigan is in the driver's seat.  he was definitatly watching the tournament, so the basketball team's success helped football!  i just hope this is a michigan-lean tweet and not a "I'll decide between stanford and Michigan" tweet.

We need some context for this tweet.  This could just mean that he's going to decide after his visit to Stanford, which we've known for a couple of weeks.

You are correct; he's apparently vacillating on the previously firm decision to have a post season commit party. Stanford visit is still on in July - coach has an engagement in the area that he *won't* miss - so unless Stanford blows his footies off, he's strongly considering ending it relatively shortly thereafter.
