Penn State hires Tim Banks

Just announced this morning. He was Beckman's dc and safety coach at Illinois. Cubit wanted him to stay and he decided to leave. Will be co-DC and safety coach with last year's co-Dc and lb coach who was given DC title. Sounds like a decent hire but still sounds like not the quality of Shoop by any means. So... this is good for stealing PSU defensive commits. I think. If there are any Harbaugh wants. Or i could be wrong.

I thought he was going to be some awesome HS coach from the IMG Academy in Florida or something. Someone we wanted as a recruiting coordinator.

If Hill is considering PSU still he can go to the 29th ranked passing efficiency defense coached by a coach who had the 21st ranked efficient defense vs pass. OR the #1 ranked passing efficiency Defense with the Defensive staff intact except for a new defensive coordinator that coached the #5 defensive efficiency against the pass last yr...tough choice?

We should be recruiting for any elite ends and/or tackles...Gary is going elsewhere. And with Ojemudia gone, Henry gone, and Mone unproven, we need to keep pace with OSU and Sparty

No. You're just a troll who has no idea what he's talking about. The comment on the DL, our strongest position on the roster proves that.

We still have Glasgow, Wormley and Hurst. Some say Mone is the best DT on the team, which is scary, but I know for a fact he was right there with Glasgow pre-injury.

We have Elliott coming in. Taco Charlton and a bevy of guys for the WDE spot.

Right there you have a very solid DL. WTF are you talking about?

Toss in Gary, who's a heavy Michigan lean? The DL is actually better than it was this year. Which was one of the best in the country before Glagow and Ojemudia went down.

So before you start running your fat mouth about what YOU know, take a look at what we've accomplished to this point...3rd place. If...IF we land Gary then stomp OSU, Sparty, and Iowa, I'll jump on your pink bandwagon. Troll.

Cubit was diplomatic, but he had demoted Banks from DC to co-DC. He promoted the other co-DC to a full DC as soon as Banks left. It looks like he was pushed out to me.

This hire confirms the lack of appeal in working for Franklin at PSU. Compare his hires to Durkin's.
