hey al lets roll out constant unbalanced looks again this half, its ok that touissant gains -2 or 2 yards every down, it will work eventually.  just like touissant in this scheme, the student in the 5th row can run for -2 or 2 yards on 10 straight carries and eventually bust one for 10-20 yards.....but it does not mean its a rational idea or effective scheme.  i understand al is hamstrung by 4 average to below average OL, a stable of TEs and FBs who fan on 50% of assignments and a turnover prone QB, but gotta do everything possible to set your players up for success.  shake it up, get wild, spread them out and run multiple backs out of pistol, just do something other than what has been proven ineffective, repeatedly proven.  gardner running and throws down the seam are the only consistently effective plays as of right now - so spread them out and adapt.  your iron will and faith in your players and scheme will not offset the lack of talent on the field.....keep pounding against that brick wall attempting to will the desired result, maybe im wrong, maybe touissant and this OL / TEs / FBs will miraculously pull a 180 and dominate the LOS for 4-5 yards per carry.  but i dont see it, not right now.  only down 11, certainly a winnable game.  shake it up on O and effectively use your playmakers.  and bring occasional pressure on D and turn this thing around

Michigan is playing well as long as I'm chugging beers. This could get expensive...

1. sometimes you win b/c of your defense.  we might need that
2. Frank Clark, for all the shit we've said based on unreached expectations, is freakishly athletic (if not a great DE)
3. we can win this, even with 3 TOs and horrible horrible Oline play and O playcalling in the 1st half
4. TOs for TDs can make me far less pessimistic

but blaming him for Gardner throwing it right to opposing players is ridiculous. Gardner is seeing nothing right now.  Doesn't feel the pressure, cant read zone drops, cant read a LB blitz.  He is playing horribly.  Defensive TD, yes thank you.
