First and 10 with 1:20 left and you get 9 yards... Then you run the clock out on 2 plays that haven't worked all game... Burn the whole thing down. Maybe it's te vodka talking but in ready to start over. ... With all due respect Mr Yost, you shut up... :)

How much worse can he be? Besides, It's a lot less disturbing to see the typical mistakes of a true Freshman than seeing the same mistakes being made by an experienced Junior.

And in areas where you think Michigan is getting killed, they aren't. They just suck. PSU 5 yard advantage in total yards and an 11 point differential, all because of turnovers. Michigan failed to take advantage of field position on a tunover on downs, then scored on a bomb and went ahead on a field goal. But the freshman qb has made plays while Gardner hasn't. Michigan looks slow, lethargic and uncomfortable with no apparent answers to anything.

We play every week as if our primary goal is winning TOP.  Right now, it's a weekly competition to see if we can beat ourselves worse with turnovers or with an obsolete approach to winning football.  It's not a question of spread vs "pro style."  It's a question of why so many basic football plays are missing from this offense.  ANY offensive approach should at least include the occasional quick slant, quick out, dump off... some kind of pass play that doesn't take 10 minutes to set up, that doesn't require a lengthy play action rollout or 7 step drop.  The defense can just stack the box and attack, and we have NO answers for that, no way to punish them.  Even a crap defense full of walk-ons with no pro prospects or depth can shut you down if you play right into their hands like we insist on doing week after week.

Calling for anyone's head on a message board is just about as futile as it gets.  But I'm sick of the blind spots.  How stubborn can you be?  How long to realize that this approach isn't working and it's not always as simple as guys not executing?  It's not talent, not when you look at the teams we've played.  Notre Dame is the only team that even approaches us in talent.  How many blue chips to we have to sign to win comfortably vs Akron or UConn?  How many seasons to develop that talent?  When Penn State (playing pro style, by the way,) is further along than we are even with severe scholarship limitations, we have to ask ourselves some serious questions.

the football letterwinners, the M ring alumni, and all of the guys who wanted to see the return of dominant Michigan football, with big linemen controlling the line of scrimmage and beating other teams with fundamentals.

Borges is setting Gardner up to fail...every single possesion they try and run the ball from under center. GUESS WHAT IT DOESNT WORK!  You are putting Gardner in 3rd and longs!  The only rush yards you have is from Gardner...RUN THE SPREAD! READ OPTION!

Why can't we dink and dunk our way down the field?

It mitigates poor OLine play and keeps you ahead on the down and distance. It also puts pressure on the defense to continue to tackle and make plays. One missed tackle and a nice block and Gallon or Dileo is off to the races.

We don't have to have this 90s NFL dropback passing game. Just quick throws and get the ball in the hands of the playmakers and let them try to do something with the ball. Every now and again, go PA pass and take your shot down field to keep them honest.

Still plenty of time left. I'm hoping for more deep passing. We were beating their DBs deep many times. And if it turns into an INt, we don't lose the field position.

Passing game NEEDS to open up the run, and Devins short passing is suspect at best. Start sending Gallon, Funch, Chesson and Dileo deep.

Does anyone know what time it is? Oh wait, I do. It's time for Michigan to win the game and get the girl. Then Hoke will point and everyone will cheer. The good times are here again.

TO's are why we only have so few points. But we should have at least 14 and our D gave up at least one TD that should've ended up a FG attempt.
