Penn State Ad above MgoBlog Banner
Do you live anywhere near pennsylvania? I'm seeing Google ads.
I live in chicago
Because google ads are context aware, and surprisingly there happens to be quite a bit of chatter about Penn State around here right now.
I'm pretty sure the Geico Gecko I'm seeing studied meteorology at PSU
Get ads for State gear or ND's online executive business courses whenever we play them or they are in the news. If we talk about a school we will see ads related to that school.
I see Dingell for congress, but yeah it's because PSU's been mentioned a lot.

Well, thats possible, but I only went to a Penn state site once this week to read a game preview from a Penn State perspective
that's all it takes, one visit to the site. I work for an online advertising company, and what you saw is called "re-targeting." Sites can buy ad space to re-target you back to the site once you have visited. Depending on which network(s) they use and solutions provider, how frequent and where you see these ads differ.
I got this screen shot a few weeks ago.
has no defense against PSU this week....

that's right, those ads are what's paying for brian's salary...and in most cases, he doesn't have control over what is shown
