Peach* Bowl Open Thread (*Seth approved name for Chick-Fil-A)

Peach Bowl a better name, but at least we get cow commercials. A not bad 10-2 vs. 10-2 Tiger vs. Tiger game. LSU vs. Clemson. And it should finish in 2012.

Clemson is such a fraud 10 win team. They beat a bunch of crap ACC teams plus Auburn and lost to FSU and rival SC. I wish we had their schedule...

I hope Clemson wins this game so the following sequence can (and absolutely will) happen
  1. Clemson wins Peach Bowl
  2. Clemson gets massively hyped in the off-season
  3. Clemson starts in the top 10. X player is a heisman candidate
  4. Clemson starts 4-0
  5. Clemson gets epically blown out by Wake Forest

Something about the Peach Bowl always seems to get good matchups and fairly highly rated teams for a non-New Year's Day bowl.  Maybe it's just because it's always Florida, FSU, LSU, Clemson, and Miami.

Is it possible for your blind side to be both sides? I think Zach Mettenberger needs to ask himself this question about now. The intentional grounding call is just a morose bonus at this point.

LSU always makes games closer than they should be. They barely beat  terrible teams like Auburn, Arkansas, hell even Towson kept it close against them.

Parden the timing (future opponent), but imagine if Spurrier could have kept Montgomery in state and they had Montgomery & Clowney as bookends.

I will say that Boyd threw the best ankle-high pass into coverage for a TD that I have ever seen just a few moments ago.

Also, Clemson has held LSU to under 70 yards of offense to this point in the game, but then, Zach Mettenberger is not Geno Smith and LSU has no Tavon Austin.

Les Miles has won 11 games or more in five of his seven years at LSU. Makes you wonder what his record would have been at Michigan had we hired him in 2007. I know LSU has had a ton of  talent but to win that many games is very impressive.

He looks to be in great shape.  And Wormley's hair is trending positive.  Hopefully we'll get to see all of these young guys on the field in the spring

My day to day crew! @apoole_40 @cbryant58 @chrisworm43 @ring_ringum Been at it since week 1 with these boys, even though injuries sidelined us all for this season we picked each other up everyday and continued to grind and get better! The road to recovery is not an easy one but with my dogs the comeback will be real! S/o to @mr_toussaint28 who joined us toward the latter part if the season! #goblue #outbackbowl #thereturn #crutchcrew

Clemson showing some fight.  Plenty of time for FG range.  I've been impressed with their playcalling tonight, but the OC is going to have to pull out his best on this drive

Timeouts save 40 seconds of running clock regardless of when taken.
