Two plays and already a turnover.
December 31st, 2012 at 7:43 PM ^
And they didn't start with the ball.
December 31st, 2012 at 7:42 PM ^
Two more plays, TD LSU.
December 31st, 2012 at 7:44 PM ^
Hey Clemson.... West Virginia just scored again.
Wait...
December 31st, 2012 at 7:44 PM ^
I got LSU and 20 points, so pretty sure Clemson is coming back.
December 31st, 2012 at 7:45 PM ^
Look like they're having Orange Bowl flashbacks.
December 31st, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
Clemson is such a fraud 10 win team. They beat a bunch of crap ACC teams plus Auburn and lost to FSU and rival SC. I wish we had their schedule...
December 31st, 2012 at 11:31 PM ^
Not much different than us this year. They also just beat LSU.
December 31st, 2012 at 7:52 PM ^
- Clemson wins Peach Bowl
- Clemson gets massively hyped in the off-season
- Clemson starts in the top 10. X player is a heisman candidate
- Clemson starts 4-0
- Clemson gets epically blown out by Wake Forest
December 31st, 2012 at 7:53 PM ^
Boyd is going to get killed
December 31st, 2012 at 7:54 PM ^
Dear god if I hear any more ESSSS EEEE SEEEEE hype from ESPN I'm going to gouge my ears out.
December 31st, 2012 at 7:58 PM ^
ESPN has a financial stake in the success of the ESSEECEE. They aren't going to stop broadcasting their propaganda.
December 31st, 2012 at 11:50 PM ^
It's why I'm not watching. I hate trying to watch sports while the TV is muted.
December 31st, 2012 at 8:04 PM ^
That is a gutsy (Clemson) TD drive from an offense that looked terrified about 8 seconds ago
December 31st, 2012 at 7:59 PM ^
Or does LSU always seem to get a hit in while a Clemson player is on the ground? It looks like they are trying to kill them...literally
December 31st, 2012 at 8:04 PM ^
Something about the Peach Bowl always seems to get good matchups and fairly highly rated teams for a non-New Year's Day bowl. Maybe it's just because it's always Florida, FSU, LSU, Clemson, and Miami.
December 31st, 2012 at 8:07 PM ^
Is it possible for your blind side to be both sides? I think Zach Mettenberger needs to ask himself this question about now. The intentional grounding call is just a morose bonus at this point.
December 31st, 2012 at 8:10 PM ^
BIIIGGG TEEEEHHNN!
December 31st, 2012 at 8:11 PM ^
LSU always makes games closer than they should be. They barely beat terrible teams like Auburn, Arkansas, hell even Towson kept it close against them.
December 31st, 2012 at 8:11 PM ^
I really hate that high hit call.
December 31st, 2012 at 8:34 PM ^
I didn't like it either but LSU is lucky because they could be called for spearing for the way some of those guys in the secondary are attempting to tackle. I know or makes highlight reels, but that's also how you break your neck.
December 31st, 2012 at 8:12 PM ^
Awwww, it's so cute when you think that true freshmen are game-ready when they come to LSU (or any other DI school).
December 31st, 2012 at 8:25 PM ^
It's been scientifically proven that signing a EESEEECEEE letter of intent imparts the same effect on player development as two years game experience at a lesser conference.
December 31st, 2012 at 8:16 PM ^
Mingo looks too skinny to be a NFL defensive end
December 31st, 2012 at 8:19 PM ^
Is he projected to play d end? I figured he would move to olb much like Woodley
December 31st, 2012 at 8:23 PM ^
I believe that Kiper and Mcshay have him rated as their 2nd best DE but I could see him moving to OLB in a 3-4
December 31st, 2012 at 8:32 PM ^
Parden the timing (future opponent), but imagine if Spurrier could have kept Montgomery in state and they had Montgomery & Clowney as bookends.
December 31st, 2012 at 8:49 PM ^
Blocked Clemson XP
December 31st, 2012 at 8:58 PM ^
I will say that Boyd threw the best ankle-high pass into coverage for a TD that I have ever seen just a few moments ago.
Also, Clemson has held LSU to under 70 yards of offense to this point in the game, but then, Zach Mettenberger is not Geno Smith and LSU has no Tavon Austin.
December 31st, 2012 at 9:39 PM ^
Too bad the very next play went for a 57 yard td
December 31st, 2012 at 10:20 PM ^
Les Miles has won 11 games or more in five of his seven years at LSU. Makes you wonder what his record would have been at Michigan had we hired him in 2007. I know LSU has had a ton of talent but to win that many games is very impressive.
December 31st, 2012 at 10:33 PM ^
He looks to be in great shape. And Wormley's hair is trending positive. Hopefully we'll get to see all of these young guys on the field in the spring
December 31st, 2012 at 10:49 PM ^
Chris Bryant looks terribly out of shape though, and Ringer doesn't look too good either. Poole looks OK, but Wormley and Countess look like they could play tomorrow. Too bad they can't.
January 1st, 2013 at 2:43 AM ^
that I missed the important part: None of them wearing casts, braces, or even bandaids!
December 31st, 2012 at 10:44 PM ^
Clemson w the ball in their own territory down 8 w ~8 min to go
December 31st, 2012 at 10:52 PM ^
2 pt try coming up
December 31st, 2012 at 10:54 PM ^
24-22 LSU w 2:47 to go
December 31st, 2012 at 10:54 PM ^
2pt try is no good. Pity, after such a beautiful TD toss.
December 31st, 2012 at 10:56 PM ^
Clemson still has 3 TOs
December 31st, 2012 at 10:59 PM ^
always delivers
December 31st, 2012 at 11:00 PM ^
Terrible play calling there. They could have easily run out the clock just by running it.
December 31st, 2012 at 11:01 PM ^
Clemson showing some fight. Plenty of time for FG range. I've been impressed with their playcalling tonight, but the OC is going to have to pull out his best on this drive
December 31st, 2012 at 11:01 PM ^
Timeouts save 40 seconds of running clock regardless of when taken.
Clemson ball on their own 20, 3 TOs left.
(The mad hatter strikes again w clock mgmt)
December 31st, 2012 at 11:05 PM ^
Its a 19 yarder
December 31st, 2012 at 11:07 PM ^
That you can run out the clock with a minute if you have 3 timeouts?
Moot now.
December 31st, 2012 at 11:09 PM ^
4th and a mile conversion. Clemson threw -- suprise! -- to their NFL receiver.
December 31st, 2012 at 11:13 PM ^
17 yd. Line w 16 seconds
Genius announcer still advising re: TOs
