Paskorz putting on weight

Submitted by NFZ on

According to an article on Rivals Jordan Paskorz has already put on 11 pounds since his signing day weight of 225. Article also talks about him qualifying for states in the shot put. Good to see him putting on weight and good luck at states!

I could do the math on my own, obviously, but it was worded weird so I wanted to confirm that's what he meant.  Usually the post will say "player x put on 11 pounds and is now up to BLANK" as opposed to "player x put on 11 pounds and used to be BLANK."

Very witty of you though.

With Roh and JB Fitzgerald ahead of him, I'm guessing we're still looking at a redshirt.  Still, it's always encouraging when the Barwis plan operates as designed.

It's interesting that we have so many recruits slotted for the SAM position. Pask, Wilkins (though I think he's a DE all the way), Ryan, even Rogers?

I think Paskorz will be a DE eventually, too.  Or a career backup.  I don't think he's agile enough to play OLB.  Craig Roh was only 238 (2 lbs. heavier than Paskorz) when he enrolled in the summer.  I think Paskorz will eventually be bigger.

Well, I think Wilkins is DE all the way (he weighed as much as a HS Senior as Roh does now) and Ryan will probably be a MIKE.  However, I think Rogers will be a good SAM (if that's what we're calling this), better than Paskorz.  He doesn't have the bulk that Paskorz has yet, but he has the frame to put it on, and since we have 2 non-seniors at the 2 deep there, he won't be called on for a few years.  I think Rogers at about 245 or 250 will be a Shawn Crable type at that spot.

the brutha's eye, his AGENT is going to be the one doing the hiding. I suppose they will need to keep him away from septicemic patients, too. . . though if he goes that way then Baptist sainthood likely follows.

What you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

about the incoming freshmen who could possibly make nice contributions this fall, help fill us all with unreasonable expectations and while the summer months. I still only get 6-7 wins when I examine the schedule with my Super Sober hat on, but if there's a few difference-makers 'mongst the frosh, someone point them out to us.

P.S. Unless Michigan just flushes the season, I think RichRod has two years. I'm absolutely convinced of it. Brandon is no fool. He knows D wins games and we don't have much of one. And he knows we have to get all new players as well as a coach if we get have to go throw the bank at Harbaugh.

Didn't know much about him when he committed and didn't really hear anything about him after he committed either. I'll find it interesting what position he ultimately ends up at cause I think we are going to be set at outside linebacker. Hopefully he has the frame to play defensive end.
