You, sir, have never been down a manhole in the city of Ann Arbor or Detroit or in a few other places. There is absolutely weather underground, but the problem is that you can't see it without worklights, it's always bad, and it smells like someone died in it. There is little else to do aside from admire the gentle rain from the condensation anyway.

MGoSoftball's daughter was spot-on last week, maybe she can provide another USAF weather forecast.

Michigan football should be a national priority for our armed services :)

I just looked at both the NAM and GFS models.  The NAM says rain will be well gone by kickoff but the GFS has a second surge of lighter moisture during game.  It's unusual for such disagreement so close to the event but bottom line is heaviest rain will be tonight and conditions should be improving throughout the day tomorrow with a higher than normal uncertainty to the gametime forecast.

Mine too. But I've been tracking this all week and this afternoon the forecasts have changed significantly in our favor. Went from 90% chance of rain and almost 0.5 inches during the day on Saturday to 55% chance of rain and 0.1 inches of rain during the day on Saturday. It looks like the rain forecast has been moved up to Friday overnight/early early Saturday morning. I think there is still a decent chance of a few showers during tailgate tmie and the game, but nothing like the sustained rain the originally forecasted. Thunderstorms are almost better from a rain perspective because they tend to be fairly isolate and move by quickly. But obviously t-storms are not good for game time. Really interested in MGoweather's take on this forecast. I'll be as prepared for rain as I can be!
