Outlandish Prediction on Pryor

Submitted by MichiganPhotoRod on
Follow me on this... I did state it was outlandish. Forget what I said in my previous post. It came to me in a dream last night. I was reading the following headline: PRYOR = CLARETT & BOLTS FOR THE NFL TOO SOON; ELIGIBILITY LOST I still feel negative Brian points coming. I can take it like a man!

You'd actually cheer for him to be incredible the next 3 years? I'd rather not hear about how amazing he is amazing, not too mention; i'd love to see rr do a better job at developing big athletic qb's than tressel, to give us the recruiting edge in the future. +1 because lets face it, beating them is all that truly matters!

...by trying to leave school early and in the process hosing his college career? That's the only way this makes sense to me. As the first 241* replies said, he can't leave until his after his junior year. However, he could attempt to challenge the NFL again, and probably wind up about where Clarett did. If so, I'm afraid it's wishful thinking. Pryor may have a gigantic ego, but he's almost certainly smart enough to know that he's not going to get big bucks as a QB from the NFL until he's at least a junior. If he were a running back like Clarett, well, that's a different story. Running backs are much more likely to make a big impact on an NFL team as a rookie * If you're counting the actual number of replies, please look up "hyperbole" in the closest dictionary.

I agree, obviously everyone learned their lesson from Clarett on trying to challenge the NFL's rule. I think this was referring to the possibility that Pryor did that, but their is no way. Clarett was one of the biggest idiots to ever play college football, and he continued to prove that after he left OSU. Even if Pryor won the Heisman this year, which will never happen, he would not give this a thought, because he would never get beat the NFL in court just like Clarett.
