1. Nothing user-facing has happened with the site transition yet. That happens all at once.
2. The issues are mysterious to me. They are permissions-based and usually these things only break when you change modules on the site, which we haven't. Now that I've tracked the error we should be able to fix it promptly when it does happen.
There is only one solution: Weep and repent for your sins. The Drupal overlords are here.

Come to think, it's the first time I've logged in since I updated my Firefox last night. That might be the source of warning.
Firefox now warns you when you are trying to access a site via unsecure http rather than https, which mgoblog doesn't appear to have (or at least I'm getting a 502 bad gateway when I tried it).

When I built my website working with the developer took 45 days, but it seemed like a lifetime of stupidity, errors and miscommunication.
Well, if you're a mosquito, that 45 days was probably more than your lifetime. And if you're a housefly, it was about two lifetimes.
It's all a matter of perspective.
