Our footballs are made in the USA but not in Ohio
Ada, Ohio is home to the Wilson football factory – the world's only dedicated football factory - meaning many of the pigskins you see flying around NFL and college fields were made in Ohio.
Adidas footballs are made in the USA, but not in Ohio. Definitely not in Ohio.

I'm happy to hear that our footballs are unsullied by the worst state ever.
MADE IN USA
NOT IN THAT COLD STATE UP ABOVE US NORTH
Urban: "That'll teach 'em"
rivalry
the helmets (Riddell) are made in Ohio too.
thats like a sex offender writing children's books. yeesh.
I was talking a few months ago to my wife's cousin (from Texas) who said his company was going to be making Michigan's new footballs. I'm trying to find out if this was his doing. I can't think of another Michigan fan there.
As always: all meat is good meat.
By the way, if it is his company I may be able to swing a few of them. Not promising anything.
And judging by the quality of their equipment and uniforms, I'd say it's safe to say that third party is, in reality, an 8th grade Home Economics class from Des Moines who haven't learned all the stiches yet.
The uniform design is of course outsourced to the Western Pennslvania School for the Blind.
Many things made by your favorite company are outsourced to a 3rd party.
DIBS!!!
come from Ohio though
I like to think that by moving down to Ohio, I balanced that out a little bit.
I've never understood why Ohio State fans crow about how many Michigan football greats are from Ohio... when all of those said greats MADE A POINT of leaving the state of Ohio to go to Michigan. Isn't that kinda like Jennifer Aniston and Gweneth Paltrow razzing Angelina Jolie that Brad Pitt was originally with them?
Those other two don't even hold a candle to Jenn. And Gweneth (ugliest name ever?) Paltrow? Really? Solid 7 on a good day. C'mon Brad... you've been slipping ever since Fight Club. Angelina is just.... ugh. How many child-purses can you have?
something scary?
Fun fact: the baton (or, rather, mace) used by the MMB drum major was developed by an Ohio State band alum, who now manufactures and sells them. On the top of every mace, below the ball, is a small etching that reads (if memory serves) "Go Bucks Beat M" or something to that effect.
I know when you order one, you have to list your school affiliation and band director's name on the order form, so I assume he just did it for those he knew were going to Ann Arbor. But I can't say for sure.
I've always heard reluctance to reinvent the wheel... only an Ohio fan would be so presumptuous as to reinvent the mace.
Per a quick perusal of the Internet, Adidas apparently has 71 facilities which do work for them in the United States, with major ones being located near Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Fayetteville (North Carolina) and a few in Florida. If it was one of those facilities, not only are they not from Ohio, they were made well away from Ohio. I admit to having disagreements with Adidas, but facilitating the addition of this entertaining dimension to the rivalry would not be one of them.
Your move, Columbus.
I like that they're not made in ohio, but i'm a little miffed that Michigan footballs have ohio printed on them. Get off my lawn!
