Our dreams= crushed

I am on the verge of tears right now. There is no way we make a bowl game now. Thanks a lot Rich. Way to get outcoached against an inferior opponent yet again. Fuck you.

There is no way we make a bowl game now. ...unless we beat Ohio State or Wisconsin. The season isn't over yet. And given that Indiana had almost the same conference record as us (our 1-4 against their 1-5) and beat Ohio State along the way, how are they an inferior opponent again?

We can beat OSU. I wouldn't bet on it, but if Tressel gets ultra-conservative, we'll actually have a shot at out scoring them. Purdue runs a similar offense and got it done. At this point, a win over OSU is the only thing that can save RichRod from catching HELL this offseason.

Yeah sadly i've lost all faith. We are in last place in the Big Ten and thats no fluke. We are the worst team without a doubt. I have been a RR supporter up until last weeks Illinois game. I still think he should get another year but like I said I have lost all faith. I dont see this going anywhere really. Next year we have all our tough games on the road where under RR we have won 1 road game in 2 years. 1-5 in the Big Ten and basically a 5 game losing streak with a possible 7 game losing streak to end the season? Sorry RR you just cant defend that. It seems like everyweek some milestone is acheieved by another team. Today Purdue wins at the Big House for the first time since the 60's.

Seriouly? We haven't beaten OSU in what, 6 tries? What makes you think this year's team stands a chance? Hate to say it, but OSU is going to embarrass us even further. Next year please get here soon....

Outcoached in consecutive weeks by probably the 2 worst coaches in the Big 10. Oh wait, I'm beginning to think Rich Rod is the worst coach in the Big 10. And what's with the clock rules - at the end of the first half Purdue was called for a false start and delay of game on their last drive - don't those penalties keep the clock from moving? Yet, after the ball was set, the officials started the clock.

At what point do we start freshmen at S/LB over walkons? These guys get smoked for ridiculously long plays (70-80 yards) literally every week because they're too slow. I mean, the defense can't get any worse. You have to shake things up, right?

Mouton - Scholarship Mike Williams - Scholarship Troy Wolfolk - Scholarship All Scholarship players that are responsible for huge plays during the game. Yes, Michigan should never have a walk-on start but they do and they have not played horrible unlike some scholarship players.

If you meant tears, man the fuck up. Jesus. Unless you're under 11 years old. If that's the case, a thousand apologies. Also, if you are under 11, I'll tell you the same thing my Dad told me: "They never fail (except for 1997) to disappoint you at some point in the season." Bottom line is this: If this shit makes you cry, you've really never had any adversity in your life. Christ.

Right now I'm just hoping that some of our redshirt freshman (Turner etc.) can contribute next year and fill in some of those holes in the secondary. We weren't supposed to beat Wisconsin last year either, there's still some hope.

No way we should lose to both Illinois and Purdue. Didn't think the defense could get any worse than Illinois, but there were open Purdue receivers all over the place today. Defense does not have a clue. By this time of the year there are no more excuses for a defensive performance like that. Fire Richrod and that worthless defensive coordinator NOW, don't blame talent, don't blame youth, they HAVE to go They have taken a great football program and reduced it to an under investigation laughingstock. Bill Martin, admit your mistake and FIRE THEM NOW.
