OT(slightly): Best NCAA Moments Last 8 Years

Submitted by Gavia immer_MI on

Nothing novel about this post or content, other than to remind everyone to savor this time of year, win or lose. It's pretty magical and creates moments to remember (or to forget) for a lifetime.

Michigan makes an appearance five times (3 good, 2 bad).

Go Blue, beat Purdue!

I did that, while making sure to switch back to rich text editor and things looked fine. I also previewed the post multiple times before posting and again, things looked ok. I read multiple posts about embedding, including trying to copy code from successful OP's videos from this year. Thank you for the tip either way though.

Will always be one of my most epic sports' memories!  It emobied him and the team.  It also absolutely locked up the national POY.  He was in a tight race with Victor Oladipo, but his tournament success - and particularly that shot - sealed the deal.  He became a consensus first team All American.  He won every single major POY award (Naismith, AP, Wooden, Robertson, NABC).

Those type of memories are priceless.  It is just a game, but somehow it brings so much joy!

Florida Gulf Coast beating down Georgetown in 2013 was my favorite.  And this no look pass by Brett Comer, with 2 mins left and FGCU needing to milk clock, was absolutely unreal.  Will never forget how exciting that game and team were...

like yesterday to me, Cletus.  To hell w the rules!

Rumeal shot free throws about like Z and Matthews - and those last two were the softest, straightest free throws you will ever see.  Rice's 184 points still a NCAA Tourney record.  Wish the younger guys on the Board could have seen him play on regular basis - 6'9" with the quickest and purest jump shot you will ever see.  What great memories...

The "Trey".

Spike hitting all those 3's, and then hitting on Kate.

Last year's BTT Championship game, which I was at.  My wife is a Dukie and they won the ACC tournament the night before.  At the end of the game, confettti rained down on them in celebration.  I thought to myself: "I want that for Michigan."

Got it:
