O.T.MgoBypass update

Submitted by BigWeb17 on

Well, my surgery went off without a hitch last Wednesday, 9hour operation because it was a sixtuple bypass. Go Big or Go home. Just wanted to thank everyone for the prayers and well wishes. I have been home since yesterday afternoon and each day is better. Go Blue.

That is awesome to hear that everything went well and it is good to hear that you're home now. Hopefully, every day is indeed better for you. Keep fighting and always Go Blue, sir.

Glad to hear everything went well. My father had the sixtuple (is that a word?) bypass surgery a few years back. Still remember it well, realizing how close he was to having a heart attack (all were 70% or more blocked). Best of luck on your recovery!

for BigWeb17, too, if he'll post again within this thread.

Mike, you don't gain any points from our posbangs on your opening post.  More importantly, though, we all hope for the best for your health, so follow the instructions of your physician and the surgical team and do whatever work it takes to get healthy again!

Good Lord, did you have the Three Stooges replumbing your heart?

Seriously though, best wishes and good luck.

We had dinner with my dad this past Christmas, it was his 25th since having a quintuple bypass.

Oh, by the way, that new zipper you have.  Probably best if you don't try to open it.

6/9 hours is fn gangster! Glad it went well and your home! Get on your rehab as your pt and Dr. recommends and you'll be as good as new in no time!

Like I said in your other thread my dad is 20 yrs older than you and had a quad and is good as new!

Please keep the updates coming!
